  • is this compatible on a mac?

  • Hey there. This was done on a mac.

  • It's possible to play 640x480@60 movies the same way directly on Sanyo HD1A hybrid (have 1).

  • yeah i think i have this camera. how do i make it go slowmo? I'm still not sure about this function.

  • groovy - thinking of buying one of these - one of the main reasons is the 640x480 60fps mode... thanks heaps for putting this up :1

  • awesome! the cam seem to be really excellent in this area with not so much smearing-lag on fast moving objects. even though youtube lowers the quality its still good to see the feature in action

...thanks also for the quick efficient lesson about "adobe after effects" as well! (i know similar ideas can be used working with audio. but i didnt know there was a simple integrated solution for this in any videoediting app)

  • OK - I OWN a HD1a and had no idea I could do slow motion! I love the camera - lot's of versatility for the size, price, and media!

  • It's a great camera. The effect is achieved in the standard definition, 60fps mode though. I basically imported the file into after effects, interpreted the footage to be read at 25fps as opposed to 60fps and voila! Slow motion as good as anything you could shoot on film.
