I grew up with the Doctors from John Pertwee to the present.... I loved the 5 Doctors, and this one just made it special to bring the whole series together.... From William Hartnell to the present, it's the absolute best series in TV history... I was 3 years old when the series first began, and I love it still...
This was one of those rare moments in Dr Who where I actually lept up from my seat and cheered at my television. Felt a bit silly afterwards, but never the less, This was a moment filled with Awesome, and drizzled in Awesomesauce!
That part of David saying "You where my Doctor" is true. He is a HUGE fan of him. They both even acted speechless when they first met each other...I love it.
@masteraj57 Yes, Tom Baker may have been David Tennant's Doctor, but if you compare influence and personality, I think Moffat was making a point that the 5th Doctor is the 10th Doctor's ...Doctor. Wibby Wobby.....
@djre81 maybe yeah. because i can understand that in the context of the comparison of the characters in the show. but david tennant himself says his favorite is Tom Baker, and he was also his first, and that always leaves an imprint so it just annoys me when people say that Peter Davison was his favorite, because he wasn't. its like people calling the doctor "Doctor who". it annoys some people. can't explain it, can't help it. it just does. sorry
@masteraj57 If you think about it, is the 5th Doctor perhaps Moffat's Doctor? His scripts seem to have a more kitchy and playful aspect than Davies more serious scripts. I bet the 4th Doctor was Davies Doctor. Either way Tennant is MY Doctor! :) I'm working my way through the Hartnell years on DVD now, just finished Dalek invasion of Earth, and he is really growing on me.
Welp, looks like the good Doctor just got involved in a big historical event.

@oblaga , actually when you think about it he didn't tell him which regeneration he was. So he did know what he would look like, just not when.

@SoliceProductions Actually Tom Baker was David's doctor. he says it in about 20 interviews, and i don't get why everyone keeps missing that.
