  • Hey whats the name of that channel you were talking about- the one where you learned about Amla oil

  • Thanks. I was just about to press enter on the Amazon site.

  • where to buy rose water?

  • Good tip by the way...I will definitely be checking that out! Thanks for sharing and may God bless you on your hair journey!

  • @markee871 Do I have to show you how to be racist. I'm black and can do a better job GOSH you actually get these people mad but all you do is repeat stereotypes and words you heard from other people. this lady is talking about a product review and you still manage to make it about hair growth and I'm cracking up. You are obsessed with black women. I agree with you I don't think you are racist I think you are crazy. How many videos about black do you comment on?

  • @linkin5961

why do people always argue about racist? just stop typing long essays and watch and screw off.

  • @SquareCrystal Actually I wasn't arguing about race or racist or whatever you are trying to say. I was telling people to not waste their there time arguing with that person markee cause she goes from page to page saying negative things and for people not to waste their time. So i don't know why you are directing your comment to me. And I was messing with that particular person markee cause it ridiculous she does that. Screw off??? Really, grow up.

  • @markee871 And this women said she isn't RACIST HAHAHAHAH!!!! but she is bullying people who have lost the job and parents have died. WARNING THIS WOMAN goes from site to site and do this on all videos. A list of a few words you will se markee use so I wouldn't get offended: MONKEY, GORILLA, UGly, NAPPY, GHETTO, I GOT A NEW ONE BORING SHE IS! WOW you really do visit channel after channel. Are you fighting for a cause the KKK, what is the purpose I'm confused.

  • How ignorant can you be when the whole world is mixing. You have all ethnicities mixing to make more beautiful, stronger people. Markee... If you want to talk about genes and genetics then here's a dose of education and reality. When two totally different people from different backgrounds allow their sperm and egg to mature, the product (the baby) of those mixed parents will have a stronger nervous and immune system rather than African Americans procreating with other African Americans or cauca

  • Who was that awful person, and why did he/she take the time out his/her day to say nasty and awful things. No one put a gun to their head and made them watch this video. Markee is a waste of a precious life. I hope they can be a better person one day. Obviously maturity was bypassed in their stage of human growth. You would think a "smart" person would think before they spoke... Ooops I said smart, wrong person. Lol

  • Your hair is beautiful. Lol, I can't believe people are so dumb. AA hair has many different textures, not just "nappy".

  • @markee871 Everything is not black and white. Hate it or love it Black women will and can have long beautiful hair if WE want. Despite what you may think, my hair is beautiful and the women in my family has hair past their waistline that is proof. So get your facts straight before you start coming down on his nice lady

  • @markee871 Are you missing a few marbles? Are you honestly just stupid? The products clearly state that they can be used for all types of hair and its AMAZING! You dont even know that all african american women dont have the same grade of hair! sorry YOUR uneducated. I sense a lot of hate coming from you so its obvious that your either jealous or you have been put in your place lol.

  • Good looking out i got some,I want to grow out my hair color maybe switch to henna hope this works with highlites.

  • You look really good love ya videos gurl, keep up the good work!!

  • @markee871 bitch i don't need this, my mom died 2 days ago, and i lost my job today so stfu

  • Does this oil make the hair lighter or darker?

  • @MsUa125 darker usually! sesame oil also darkens hair.

  • @CutieTheGP Hair in general depends on genetics, there is no way you can put indian hair oil in your hair and have butt length thich soft luxurious indian hair or hispanic/middle eastern/asian/etc!!! its all genetics!!

its also not what you put on your hair! ITS WHAT YOU PUT IN YOUR BODY! you cant be damaging your hair with relaxers and perms/heat tools and than think oil will help you! nooo, you will be as bald as your knee!

  • Yea i live in the uk , i have that hair oil, the ingredients are soooooo goood. VATIKA

  • indians rule!!

  • hi i love your video, but i have a question, how do you use the amla oil?

  • oh very good.u rocks n u r hair is healthy shine.lolz ....i was looking for a good hair care oil or tonic 4 myself...........................

  • how do u use the stuff how often

  • yes every one has a local indian store

  • the stuff kinda smells but its good :) and ur hair is great :)

  • Meu sonho é ter esse oleo! Sou do Brasil.

  • hey i have been wondering.. is Vatika just the name of the brand i would like to use amla oil sooo much.

  • do you use rosewatr for toner???

  • I really need to find an Indian store for my hair. Gosh. I've been using plain products on my hair for almost my entire life. Until I bought Indian Hemp. And yes, I'm Indian, West and American..but finding a good hair product is hard... I'm into the 2 long front braids hairstyle

  • Hi! I'm from India and here oiling one's hair has been a practice from ancient times...just wanted to clear something up...The Vatika oil is processed coconut oil with added stuff like amla oil and henna extract (henna colours hair so your hair may get an auburn tint,,,it looks good on dark hair but I dunno how it will turn out for light hair). Pure coconut oil is solid at room temperature...You can warm up a tablespoon of it in the microwave or stovetop and apply to your hair and scalp.

  • Hey, thanks for uploading! -_-

  • The Indian hair products are wonderful items anyone should have in their cabinet! I've been using several of these items for more than 3-4 months (if not longer) and love the results! I purchsed Vatika Oil, Amla Oil, Rosewater, Henna, Amla Powder, Shakaki Powders, and even a Castor Oil! All of these items are very reasonably priced at local Indian Markets!

  • Wow that is a huge price difference! Wish I'd seen your video before I got it on Amazon---I'll see if there is one in my area or DC.

  • That Amla oil is sooooooo god awful smelling. I remember my mother had it in our house when i was little, and i just HATED it. She put it in my hair like once or twice and i tried to throw it away so it wouldn't happen again, but she found it. LOl

  • Great deals..thanks for sharing.

  • hi so where can i find this product?HERE france we don't have indian store only chinese..lol

    thanks for the information..

  • ...oh shoot, my hair has always been oily too, so maybe if there is an Indian store in my local area they'll have stuff for that too if this isn't ideal for me.

  • Dang, I wonder if I can find that shampoo in my area... is it for hair of any race, or is it more geared for black people? No disrespect intended, I just understand some products are. So I just want to know if it's an option. My hair chronically has a stopping point with the growth length. I've always been grateful just to have it past my shoulders but I've always wanted very long hair. It's so baby fine I don't even know if it's even possible.

  • Mkay, So i found a new help for african american hair growth. its like a breakthrough.

    I took

    Apple Cider Vineger

B&B Grease [or any of your favorite grease]

    Water

Mink Oil [ or any oil but i recommend mink oil]

baby oil.. yea, its a gentle oil

Heat the viniger and the Greasein a microwave safe bowl for 30 seconds cover with a papertowel. Put it in a spay bottle.or any bottle.add the baby oil mink oil and water.about 1 teaspoon of each And apply on scalp and hair. Put on a scarf.

  • Do you still use these? and how did you like them?

  • use pure almond oil. best for hair, skin and body

  • i got the vatika oil long timee ago and its fantastic it actually makes your hair thick and grow faster soo its really good....

Indy1405 the answer to your question is yes

you don't put water you have to melt it in the microwave it goes all liquid.

  • i brough this oil by net but its not liquid its more squishy /mushy...is this normal????have i to put water in it or wth?its even not comming out of the bottle (proper)

    mhhhhh strange

  • @indy1405 yes that's normal.....you can warm it up to get it in liquid form

  • @jalisa423 Mine was liquid--straight from the bottle. I've been reading around and it seems there may be 2 varieties.

  • @indy1405 yeah you can boil some water in a pot and after you turn the pot off put the whole bottle in to warm the oil. You can microwave it too but don't make the oil hot just warm it up. Coconut oil is almost like a butter in the fact that when it's warm it's liquid but when it's cold it gets stiff. Make sure you apply it warm otherwise you'll put too much on.

  • @indy1405 hi actly due to weather (cold) its frozen all u hav 2 do is boil 2-3 cup of water in a pan den swtch off d flame ... nd den place d Bootle in d pan ....it will melt on its own ...nd den u cn use it ....u cn repeat dis evry time u need a hair massage ... bt avoid taking out d oil separately nd den heating it up !!!

  • @indy1405 you have to heat it up for 30 to 40 secs

  • WELL do u know why its quishy/mushy? it made of cocount oil.. when you put it on cold place, it sets like butter.. you should place it on dry over 70 degree places.... If you wanna grow ur hair, get VIRGIN COCONUT OIL... you getta shiny, thick and long hair... good for your brain, nerve system and memory too.. " i am a guy(not gal) even work for me and i am from land of cocont india... ayurveda india...

  • Why did you tell the secret? I have been using Indian products on my daughters hair and my hair for years. My seven year old hair is in the middlle of her back. My six year old hair is past her shoulder. I started off using the product you are showing, several years ago. But they have something better than that now, it has our hair growing like weeds around a flower bush.

  • use natural coconut by ingesting it in a soup as a quick add in it will shine your whole body.

  • THAT HAIR PRODUCT MADE YOUR HAIR LOOK SILKY!! I WANT SOME..... lol sorry for the caps im just really intrested in get this!!

  • i like the vatika ..but the amlla smell really but its make your hair dark and grow fast

  • @fallen1122 i like the vatika ..but the amlla smell really BAD but its make your hair dark and grow fast

  • honestly speaking i'v tried vatika and several other oils and they are of no use. i'v lost a bunch of hair. if you're really serious about using coconut oil believe me Parachute hair oil is the best cause its all natural. it makes the hair grow strong and lustrous, telling it from experience.

  • After seeing you video i went and bought the vatika and amla oils .. Its the best stuff i ever had. i have one inch and a half of new growth in just seven days Thank you for your video

  • PS, can rosewater be applied directly to the face?? I heard its good for toning pores

  • I shop at my local grocery and have the Vatika (mixture of coconut, olive, alma oils, lemon and henna), the alma oil, which goes a long way, I add a few drops to the bath. And I mainly keep well stocked on bags of henna!

  • could you please tell me what the ingredients are in the dabur amla oil? I know what the main ingredient is but I wanted to know if there are any other ingredients listed....

  • don't you the amla! Trust me, one of the main ingredients is mineral oil. Mineral oil is bad news for your hair. I used this too, because i heard about indian women and their gorgeous long hair, but i started noticeing fried ends and by hair thinning and looking like straw. Amla oil was the only thing I was using. BAD NEWS!!! Stick to natural Jojoba/coconut oil. GREAT stuff.

  • yeah, I think the amla does have mineral oil. But the coconut one doesn't, I just bought some, GREAT STUFF!

  • I have all the products you just mentioned

    :D

( Dose that Vatika hair oil reduce hair oil ?)

  • Hey y'all, I'm living in jamaica and I can get you black castor oil. This product has been used by Arabian women to grow their lashes long! So if any of you are interested let me know!

  • I'm very interested,

haha arabian woman always got that kind of beauty stuff I like.

Could u tell me some more about it? And about the results??

  • Comment removed

  • i am interested hook me up

  • Amla stinks!!!

    I use parachute and vatika~

  • that coconut oil works great with shea butter because it softens it...but don't use too much like i did because a little goes a long way, kinda heavy

  • Vatikka works but it SMELLS. Omg it's so hard to wash out of my hair. And i hate using alot of shampoo because it strips my hair of moisture. \i'll try alma.

  • Good Advice. I don't know where the markets are but I will search!

  • great video thanks! i have a lot of these products and ive been buying mine online at theindianfoodstore . c o m - ive been mixing amla and shikakai and have great results!

  • totorial your hair right now look amaizing plzplzz :)

  • And girl your hair looks good.

GOOD. You should be one of their models. You sold me.

  • lol thanks....

  • Thanks for the "heads-up!"--lol. You've reminded me that online shopping isn't always the cheapest. I'm going to my local East Indian community for my own product haul. I wish I'd thought of this years ago as most products made for African Americans do not address the various hair textures of our community. Thanks again!

  • I totally agree with you....and im glad that we both have discovered our hair needs more than what's in the beauty supply store

  • o forgot to mention using oil (either coconut, olive oil or there is another one but it has a really strong smell) with the vatika shampoo works better.

  • im half indian from my mom and i use alot of indian products

take it from me, leaving coconut oil in your hair for one whole day or night really makes your hair alot softer.

do it once a week and u will see results.

if u need a video showing how ell it works ill be happy to post one.

  • @playkay12 i agree cocount oil is awesome

  • is it more effective if you heat the product before applying it to hair? cuz i know that works really good with lotion.

  • @kendraiscoolio

That's we Indians normally do. We heat the oil and then massage it into the scalp

  • oh okay cool :] i was right then lol YAY!

  • HOW DO U DO

  • Did you see any henna in your local Indian store?

  • Honestly I cant remember

  • iv heard so much about dabur amala oil n how good it is...d only down side is the strong smell.....ermmm

  • The smell does bother me for some reason...I actually like it...I know a little weird right lol

  • olive oil works well too.

    massage it into your scalp.

  • these hair oils r very good i am from india and these are the effective hair oils.i have been usin them since my childhood specially amla is really gud for ur hair .

  • Thanks for your comment

  • o my freak amla oil works so good i havent seen that oil in years it made my hair grow long and health ,im going to every indian shop to look for it tomorrow....thanks

  • All these positive comments make me want to incoporate it more in my regimen

  • Hi I have the Dabur oil. The instructions say that I should wash it out. But I am a black woman, I have afro hair, do i need to wash it out, or can I leave it in like most other oils?

  • You can leave it in, i also have the oil and it works great for the scalp ;-) Your hair colour will get lighter because of the lemon in it.

  • Thanks for your comment....I didnt know that but I will start to use it more now that I know...thanks so much

  • Please see FreyaMarsha's comment....she taught me something new

  • wow your hair looks absolutely gorgeous!!!

  • Thanks so much

  • i brought the same product vatika, and in my experience it wasnt very good, i found pure coconut oile was a better option for my hair

  • Glad you found what works for you....that's what we all want....

  • I forgot to say....Your hair looks amazing!

  • Thanks

  • I am an indian :) I have dabur amla oil on my hair as i watch your vid...doing the usual treatment :D I am glad i came across this vid...I use amla to grow my hair...and im a living proof it works...also diet rich in milk and eggs is great too...soon i'll be rapunzal :D

  • No its a haul video, to see videos about taking care of your hair look at my hair regimen videos

  • i got the vatika and nyle herbal oil at the indian store too. only the vatika cost me 5.49 & the nyle cost 5.99. so i would say it depends on where you live. i live in columbus, oh. as far as the quality of the oil, i am yet to try it out. the vatika smells really good.

  • Currently im only using the alma oil

  • How is the amla oil working for you? are you seeing any results?

  • I really cant tell if it is the alma oil that is making my hair feel so good when washing it or my shampoo

  • what brand is the rosewater you use and can you do a video on how you make the mix with the gylcerin and where on the internet can i get that rosewater.I have heard good things about it.

  • Bulgarian rosewater is the best you can get but be sure it is from a good supplier. My brother is Bulgarian and he brings stuff back with him whenever he goes home.

  • Hi! Thank you for the vid. I've been thinking of getting these oils for forever. You seem to use alot of the same things i'm trying.

  • could you send me a message letting me know exactly how you incorporate these into your regimen because i am having a hard time using these consistently

  • could you give me the name and adress to the indian store you went to??? I live in the Piedmont/Triad area and I'm looking for an indian store

  • I dont know know the name or specific address but it is on jonestown rd. in winston and it is behind the burger king in that shopping center

  • Comment removed

  • thank you !! I bought alma oil from an indian grocery at home and they had the nerve to charge over 7 dollars! I will surely go this store when I go to get my hair done. Have you ever heard of Diversity Hair Salon? I'm thinking of getting a rollerset and Dominican blowout there. TIA !! =)

  • Yea they definately over charged you...but I hadn't heard of it, but I look it up....Do you know how much they charge? I dont even know what the avg. price is for a blowout...let me know if you do go there.

  • I think they charge 45, but you can get it done for 35 some places in Raleigh/Durham and Charlotte too, it's more expensive in like the Boro, Kernersvile, and Asheboro

  • O ok...thanks..be sure to let me know how it turns out if you get it done.

  • I have a question.....

which one is BETTER? Dabur coconut oil OR dabur Amla oil?? :)

    Cheers!

  • I have only used the alma oil...I didnt know they made coconut oil but I would like to try it....

  • lol love the way you say Vatikka oiil

  • are you a nc girl? i'm a capital city chick!!!

  • Yes ma'am I am from NC....born and raised...

  • hii did the vatika work for you .. my hair gets dry and seems to break off at the roots .. i mean it comes out by the hand ful will thi keep my hair from fallin out .. thanks you

  • I apologize for just now getting to comment but I would go see a licensed beautician right away...these products in this video probably would not be the best thing for your hair right now...However the Aphogee line is for damaged hair...send me a message if you still are having problems....

  • I tried this, but you might like Extra Virgin Coconut Oil even better! I do, and it smells wonderful- like cookies!

  • What kind do you get and where do you buy it from???

  • I bought mine from Whole Foods, but your local grocery store should have it. It should say pure Extra/Virgin Coconut Oil!! It should melt at room temp./ in your hands. Good luck!

  • You may want to try out grapeseed oil instead of amla oil, just because amla oil has mineral oil in it. They jus use another word for it.Besides grapeseed oil gives your hair moistureand shine as well as protect your hair from heat and it doesn't give a heavy build-up, it's lightweight.
