No no they weren't bad, I just meant that I liked this a lot. What I wanted to know was where I could get the music you posted on your myspace, like is it available for download or?
Sorry about I misunderstood you :) I don't have anything available for downloading all the songs have not been recorded or mixed properly... They were done very rough. Once I get round to laying down the tracks and mixing them I might make them available for download.
I went on your myspace, and I thought it was well produced. I can't say I like the music as much as I liked this. This sounds really nice, and this is probably a lot of other people's songs. I couldn't even hear this in your myspace songs. :(
I love your style, it sounds so great... I for myself started playing the guitar 2 years ago and was pretty much into acoutic-slideblues and found your vid at youtube and i still watch it sometimes... i especially love this "deep" first slide into the subdominant where you contrast the high notes from the beginning; sound so cool and nasty :D
you've really got the delta sound down to perfection, alot of guys play the old music but it still sounds modern but you've really got that sound! love it man!
Great Job Dan! Damn, You got me feelin' lower than a snakes belly! Pick dem bluz boy!!! Great Job! 5+. I would love to Jam with ya sometime! I have a few vids on here as well if ya might like to check 'em out. Take care and keep 'em feelin BLUE! Chuck in Jax, Fla.

hi just to say i love this music and style of guitar i too are trying to play this and harmonica to be honest we dont see any of this music on the streets if i could play like you my dream would to busk and get this music out there and show people that john lee hooker and all the great blues players still live on excelent. i did see a guitar like yours well it looked the same if was definitly a slide guitar same body and all i wish i had brought it i also play classical thanx bluesrout66
I agree, but main stream pop is always going to be shoveled down our throats as long as it sells. Maybe it's kind of nice that you actually have to look to find this real music.. makes it that much more worth the effort. Cheers.
Don't have TABS, its all in my head. But you can find them on the net. It's a kind of medley as I said - First song is 'Come On In My Kitchen' and then it kinda goes into 'Death Letter'.
this is the stuff right here. let your heart play the guitar and just having fun. fantastic. but... have to say its a shame that you can hear the "slap" against the guitar when u play, it irritates me a little. Other then that I could easily rip this and play in on CD in the living room :)

Thank you. Thats a good question. I start of slow and steady, listen closely to your sound and slide, don't rush your slide and be gently. Take care to dampen (or not) your strings. Love that tone, Is that a harmony guitar? You can master finger picks with practice took me about 3 days and i got the hang of it You can get a lot more volume and attack it a lot more, love your style though Im only begginer at slide

this kind of music sucks. Modern rock is so much better

nice playin' man!
what is the secret key to play well with a slide? i own one but i find it difficult to play the right notes ;/
lukelazari 4 years ago
Remember with a slide you travel to the fret and sit on top of it. Not behind it as you would if fretting the guitar.
Swiftwinter 4 years ago
Try tuning to an open tuning too, it's useful for beginner slide players, I suggest open D or C
GhostLeader217 4 years ago
