how do you get that sound? is it the guitar? i have a starter epiphone

well pickups can make a difference he could have sustain pickups but it doesn't sound like he does your best bet to get a sound similar to this is to get a distortion pedal with just a tiny bit of reverb which you can get on most amps and a tiny bit of echo this is the sound that most lead players get when playing solos
