Night crawlers will catch all kinds of fish. Google up info on starting a worm bed. This way you will always have bait ready when Dad can take you out. Best of luck.

damn that was awesome!! wish me and my dad would catch something. i bought nightcrawlers today. are they good bait, and how would i keep them alive? not that im gonna keep em for long tho =)

LOL it's heaven in CT. Sorry guys. Only know of a couple spots I can do this. If I told everyone I would have no place. Hit the site. I take people out all the time. Just caught a crap load of Blues in the teens this morn.

im sure you didnt wet your hands either before handling the salmoids which in case removes there protective coating and burns the trout making them open to disease and infection
