I never understand why anti-hunters watch these videos if it bothers them so. Personally, I find the coyote to be a magnificent animal. They are incredibly intelligent, as well as resilient. They truly are a detriment to all forms of wildlife, including livestock and household pets. The only good coyote, is a dead one.

Yes I call myself a pacifist, and you can't see any gore in this video other than the coyote (Which is a pest.) get shot. I do enjoy watching it, it's a sport. He took out the coyote quick and clean (A rather well placed shot.), and there was no pain involved in the video/hunting.

@maybeyourtheonexxx3 coyotes are filth animals and in my nieghborhood they come in and eat our pets, just last night my cat was eaten and her tail was ripped out and she was drug across the street where the coyote took one bite and left her. coyotes are only after pets, so fuck em and ill kill em for fun.

I certainly agree to control the coyote population. I never see a wild rabbit or pheasant anymore due to the infestation of these pests.

People shoot coyotes because they're pests that attack livestock in certain areas.
Some shoot them because it's considered sport. Get over it.
These coyotes you people are trying to defend would probably tear your intestines out if they found you wounded on a trail. This is what happens when the media personifies animals. You get a bunch of bleeding heart cunts who think the cuddly little coyotes with big beady eyes are too cute to shoot.

@liarose11 i have taken a number of little calves to the vet because coyotes started eating their hind legs and ripped off the tail. you tell us these coyotes are weak? your son might be a man (although he is the first soldier that i have heard bragging about what he shot in combat) but you most certainly are not. get a life. watch some sponge bob if thats not to violent for you

Oh shut it! I am so sick of people complaining about hunting videos. Before all these supermarkets came arround it was the way of life my friend, and it will be for many more generations because there are people who still depend on it, like myself who has seen a few tours in afghanistan so quit it. Besides, why watch a hunting clip if your against it.

@liarose11 Alot of soldiers hunt animals to provide food for there family because sometimes the military pay scale isn't high enough, ever think about that? We all have to do what we have to do survive. I would rather try and kill an animal and let it have a chance to get away rather then have them raised in a cage and then hit over the head with a bat!

I never understand why anti-hunters watch these videos if it bothers them so. Personally, I find the coyote to be a magnificent animal. They are incredibly intelligent, as well as resilient. They truly are a detriment to all forms of wildlife, including livestock and household pets. The only good coyote, is a dead one.

you're a piece of work, what reason do you have to shoot a coyote?? You won't eat the meat, or make a hide of her.... honestly, you're pathetic. If you want a challenge try entering a comp, not shooting blindly at a coyote, or any animal for that matter that you won't do anything with, and or miss twice only to get lucky.

I do skin them and sell the hides, probly not that one in particular though. And no we don't eat them. We were actually doing control work for a rancher. Thats my reason. Why would I enter a shooting competition? You can't kill anything at those. They do have coyote calling competitions though. I might be at one of them someday. Hope to see you there:).

Killing coyotes does nothing to control their population. The females just compensate by having larger litters, but keep patting yourself on the back if it makes you feel like a big man.

Your right about that. But if you kill the whole family in the area in question, then you have just controled the population. Thats what most coyote hunters don't understand r3todd. You can run around and kill a coyote or two out of a couple different families and think your doing yourself a hell of a control job. But its just making the other coyotes smarter and harder to kill. Ya gotta kill them all. Not many guys can get that done though.

ay wambatstew ya you can control the population now because of something called DNR ya im sure you didnt hear anything about the near 300,000 coyotes they released from breeding captivity to control deer population in the west and another 10,000 in the south east ok so ya you can kill em off ive manniged to break the niche with my Remington 700 buckmaster i got 20 last year and ive got 9 so far so take your humain ass some where people give a rats ass

@captaincolt045 As a matter of fact, you illiterate, red-neck slob, my beef comes from the neighbour's ranch, where they raise range-fed bullocks. They don't castrate at all, since that causes wasting, slow development and poor feed to meat ratios. To compensate, stupid ranchers use large doses of testosterone to make their steers 'beef up'. Smart ranchers raise bullocks, which can be slaughtered at full weight 4 to 6 months before steers can, with top quality carcasses. All AAA beef, all yummy.
