The Mechanix was a song Dave wrote Before he joined Metallica. They played it in Metallica with him as "The Mechanix" It was on metallicas first demo. When they kicked Dave out for drinking they renamed it "The Four Horsemen"

Metallica owe alot to Dave. Dave even wrote the music to the title track on "Ride The Lightning"

Were you born so stupid? It's The Mechanix a song from Metallica's No Life Till Leather a album they recorded when Dave was still in the band. Dave left and released The Mechanix on his album Killing is my Business.. And Business is good. He wrote the song in the first place. Metallica also claimed the song and released it slower and with other lyrics as The Four Horsemen
