  • I love the sound of these old cars. It actually sounds like a car engine, unlike that howling these days

  • Thank you for not putting any shitty music in this vid.

  • @4JayeP No music? Can't you hear it? You're deaf... :P

  • As I look at the car livery...yes it's from 1983

  • the company that commercially ran the circuit (CENAV) went out of business, half of the cirucit was sold....there are bungalows and futbal stadium i think..:) but...circuit is alive:) first 50 seconds.. :)

  • OOOH how I love to get the old layout of zandvoort back........but I understand they do'nt.. Giving Zandvoort an upgrade to f1 standards won't make any difference....Bernie and his friend Jean ( Todt) want to take racing to asia and arabia....all for the money!!!!!......and all the great circuits that made f1 the highest on the ranks of auto sport are left to die..THANKS BERNIE!!!!

  • selective downshift... wow!

  • i'll probably get shot for this, but i like the new zandvoort. however it's getting a little run-down now a days, it's needs an overhaul. the pit's are starting to get old, the curbs are rubbish and more of those things

  • Why couldn't anyone buy land to recreate some of these classic F1 tracks?

It's a question i've always wanted to know for sometime

  • shameabout the zandvoort track

  • The first 50 seconds of the movie, the layout of the track is still the same and in use.. :-)

  • It's the 4 time champion Alain Prost in the number 15 Renault, from a video called "Lap of the Gods". Geesh, you know how to make a guy feel old.

  • Pretty sure it's Alain Prost in the Renault. Early-mid 80's

  • My guess would be 1983, his last year at Renault. He lost the WDC to Nelson Piquet by two points. He moved to McLaren, partnering Niki Lauda, in 1984, and lost the Championship by half-a-point. He won in 1988, 1986, '89 and '93.

  • 1985 not 88 ;)

  • Oh yeah, thanks! It was a typo. Senna won in 1988.

  • Yhea. I do had the idea you´re a kind of guy you knows what he is talking about. The keys are all to close on the keyboard sometimes:)

    See you around.
