Sure Shea is a dump....my dump! I grew up near the place, worked there as a vendor for one season, watched Jets football, Mets baseball when they were losing 100 games a year and drawing crowds of 5000, saw The Who, The Police, got lots of souvenirs, and today I will be taking my two kids back to the old neighborhood and to their first major league ballgame...I'm even hoping the planes will be flying loud and low today....
am from california but i would like to visit shea stadium. Because in tv i see lots of bars on the stadium seats and it looks like if people have to go under them i wonder how they did that
The bars form an intricate series of "box seats". They seperate the seats into clusters of 6 or 8. You really can't move very far from side to side, just a seat or two.. Each section at the field level is only a few seats wide, but goes from the back of the section all the way to the field and requires an individual usher.. Which means there are about 5000 ushers in the place, and if you're standing at the back of the section they poke you in the arm and say "Hey, no standing" Gonna miss it.
hey bud if u can make a tribute to tradition field (port st. lucie mets) I was there on the field. It was freaking awesome. I got pics on the mound and in the dugout and a video of me runnin the bases. I don't know how Reyes does that in 9 seconds lol
lol, excellent! You had The Beatles! I <3 Shea! My childhood is in that place. And I mean, it's history! '69 Mets, '86 Mets, Beatles concert, Elton John, The Who, Billy Joel in '08, etc. How can you let a place like that go? Yeah, let's get Shea a ring! =P

who is this guy kidding, Shea is a landfill dump. i once saw ed kranepool out run by a rat the size of a medium sized dog.

What stadium is that at 1:05 cuz its not shea. Shea doesn't have bleacher seats except for the picnic area.
