How cumbersome is it to load the rockbox on the iPod? is it quick? I want to know what the iPod is doing and how long it takes for it to boot the psgroove exploit on the device itself. From what I have seen the iPod Touch hack is a PITA.
@dieselboy27 It's very easy on the ipod nano 1g, Install Rockbox to it which is simple as a few clicks, then replace one file on the ipod with another in windows explorer, reboot the ipod. That's it. It still works as an iPod too.
Would you know where i would find a tutorial on how to install this?I have it done with my phone 2g but it stopped working.I have rockbox installed and I have the hermees v3,I dont know how to install it or how to run the hack.

@budaloxx13 I don't think so, just nano 1g. You can also use other ones like iPod Touch 1G or any of the regular fat iPods.
