playing the bass with a pick kills every amp. Sorry, but the sound is horrible. Thanks anyway, you just showed me why I shouldn't buy this amp - I did consider it.

i have the ba-115 and am very satisfied with it.

ive played through the vintage svt heads and then into this and found a very close sound. lows are amazing and this thing is LOUD. louder than my schools 300 watt laney bass amp. Id buy it if i were you. the reviewer just sucks

Couldn't agree more about the reviewer. But I have chased my sound for more than 20 years. I play jazzy, funky stuff and I think I'll go for BBE BMax preamp and some power amp. For home practise my G&K backline115 is OK enough. regards

der amp is gut. keine frage.. zwar is der ba115t mit röhre in der vorstufe besser für meinen geschmack aber naja .. trotzdem gilt für den tester: wenn man keine ahnung hat....

I own this amp. The hiss is audible through the tweeter only when you turn the treble up to a point when all kinds of string noise etc become audible. The problem is this amp has more treble boost available than any other amp I've heard. If other bass amps with tweeters had this much available boost they would hiss too. Just don't turn up the treble too much and the amp is quiet.
