the developers missed the memo... when you leave code from a F*CKING DECADE ago in your game, IT'S GOING TO BE SH*T. My advice, scrap this POS, find better funding, build game. You've got like 4 potentially awesome sandbox MMOs coming out this year, and you are releasing some POS game with like 1 hitbox, gay graphics, gay animations, gay movement, holy ****.
none of those are sandbox, though i have no idea what games he's referring to. probably doesn't know what he's talking about, cause i would have heard something about them.
Ive seen this being played on my m8's comp, which be hrought in l8 december. The graphics are shit, the animation is fucking terrible, the sounds are a joke.

On the stamina issue: It's still a bit messed up imo. They should decrease stamina consumption on stuff like jumping, and make it regenerate whilst not being in combat and just walking around or smth instead of having to sit down every bloody time for a few minutes :p
But they're really making progress and are listening to the beta participants, so I have high hopes =)
In the beginning it is a bit of button mashing. But if you know what you're doing it really comes down to skill. You'll be able to get alot of skills, and teamwork will be very important.
You can also block/parry atacks using V and since it's all real time you can really improve yourself through practise.
By the way, adamarden is complaining that the regeneration is extremely slow. Personally I agree that its a bit long, but his character is probably starving. Eating food is recommended.
And anyone saying this games gonna tank: You have no idea the ammount of oldschool gamers out there that have been waiting for this. Even if they keep one server up they will make enough off them to fund it.

Are you in the beta? If not, stfu, because I am. It's not button mashing at all, it takes true skill. It's a very immersive game, and on my decent computer (not top of the line but good) the game looks absolutely phenomenal. Only thing that needs work are animations.

Except darkfall combat is absolutely nothing like CSS so the comparison is not valid. Darkfall = 1 hitbox, honestly, 1 hitbox. How can you have "fps style" combat with 1 hitbox? Not to mention the various other major flaws that the "it's still a beta!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" excuse doesn't cover.
so you waste stamina swinging even though you said you cant catch him, then start jumping in battle even though you said and qoute, "not worth it to ever jump"........ Oh, the reason why you aren't attacking is becuase you wasted your hits swinging while not even being close. And man, trying to loot while in a fight? risky, can be rewarding, but you failed at it.

As far as the Area Effect on Melee Weapons. Change to the Over head chop Using your T Button. The area you can hit with your weapon is alot less so you dont hit your team mates when attacking mobs or players

Ok no 2-3 of your jumps didnt take your stamina down one third of the way down you were sprinting for a long ass time before you even jumped once. you could have jumped probly 40 times before your stamina reached half way

No offense, but you wouldn't run out of stamina so fast if you didn't attack when you were way out of range.
That and I really don't find stamina as that big of an issue unless you're already low when you get into a fight.
The trick is to spend your stamina as fast as you can build it back up, and don't waste it all at once.
