You can butterfly jump too, although equipment jumping in-game (power drain) was extremely difficult as a Spartan, but easy as an Elite. Too bad that recently fixed that.

you can also do this "team jump" thing where you and a teammate (unless free for all, then ur best hope to do quick is nade jump) get on top of each other. you stand on his head. You jump first, then at the height of your jump, he jumps, and you jump again on his head, boosting you up. Sadly it only gets one up there. But ur friend could sword cancel off you (possibly...)
