You can find Jesus on our own, dont let this man lie and deceive you, I was a catholic for many years and never found Jesus in the church...You can gain eternal life by telling Jesus your willing to surrender your life to him personally, accept him as your savour and ask him for forgiveness of the sins you have committed and tell Jesus you will forgive others who have done you wrong in your life..tell him you want a daily relationship with him and you will see miracles...keep his commandments!

@tario26 you don't find christ alone on your own, christ also comes and finds you, and the positive response to that encounter is conversion and adhesion to the Church which is the body of the Christ constituted of many different members, personnalities and with the pope at its head. It is opened and offered to every human beings thanks to baptism and the other sacraments and I am so happy to united with Christ through it.

@futurstew Well im happy you found what you were looking for in God inside the church, my point is that many people find Jesus Christ outside of the catholic church as was the case with myself and others that I know... some baptist, some adventists..I have surrendered my life to him and have a father son relationship with Jesus everyday, I hope that you could find the same thing that I have too...Do you have a personal relationship with God daily?

@tario26 Well yes, I do have a very intimate relationship with Jesus Christ which I exeperience through dayly prayer and at least weekly reception of the holy eucharist and the other sacraments that the Church offers me.I really feel in communion with him in the Church. I love very deeply our savior's mother too,who introduced him to me, I'm in communion with Jesus and Mary with  the rosary which I try to say every day. I really want to put my life in Jesus hands and offer it to him, like you

@futurstew I am happy you have found the connection with Jesus as a father...and as for surrending yourself to him its easy...just pray and tell him if you have never said it before that you are willing to accept him as savour for the sins you have committed in your life and that you surrender your life to him and would like to build a strong relationship with him...this is a great prayer and it brought me closer to Jesus...i will pray for you...God bless
