  • I don't like the 1st inlay on the DV8, but the Deans are awesome too, and the deans have cool Shark-fin-dot inlays.

  • Nice Achilles Last Stand!

  • does this guitar have the dave mustaine signature pickups?

  • @freeridergarrett Duncan JB/59 passive pickups

  • @digitaldaze ok thank you

  • i have the same one....i met mustaine and ellefson at different times last year and they both signed the guitar...awesome

  • Thru neck?

  • @megaluisdeth set or thru..not sure...not a bolt on

  • Thats such a BEAST guitar !!!

  • achilles last stand \m/ \m/

  • daen are faggots

    ESP all the way!

  • i have the same guitar ..but mine is the ltd with the dave mustaine signature livewires...and mine is signed by dave mustaine

  • Great guitar, great Achilles ast Stand I love that song!!

  • Would you be able to tell me the specs on this guitar? (ex is it balanced? set neck?)

  • hey why daves signature series dont appear like other guitars in the ESP web

  • because he is with DEAN Guitars now

  • yeah he is with dean and they discontinued his Esp models. you can only buy a new Dean VMNT1 now.

  • thats not true, at bmusic and musiciansfriend you can buy them there.

  • your the one who is not true, I am on musiciansfriend right now and only his dean guitars are there he isnt with them so they dont make them anymore the only way I will believe you is if you give me a link, and im sure you wont respond to this you will see that im right and just drop it and thats fine dude

  • @kirkhamstter probably because hes now working with dean guitars...

  • @kirkhamstter because he plays dean guitars now so he doesnt have a signature esp anymore

  • at rondomusic they have v guitars that look alot like this

  • for those of you who want to know what this beast is capable of.. check out my channel I've owned this guitar for quite a while now.. PU's on my guitar is passive Seymour Duncan JB (bridge) and 59' (neck) tho.

  • I got this guitar about 2 years ago. changed the live wires for EMG 81 & 85 ZW. got it for 800$ when it first came out.

  • i used this guitar w/t livewire p.u IT SOUNDED KICKASS!!! but its not at the guitar store no more :*(

  • for all u dudes lookin for one, look on ebay, or you could always get the esp ltd v-500, the only dif. is the pickups, the v-500 uses emg 81 81. and this have passive seymore duncans i think. also the v-500 has a set-neck, and this is a neck-thru.

  • how is this guitar compared to the dean vmnt?

  • Bigger!!!

That's about it. Neck and wood etc is the same.

I have the Dean, my friend have the ESP.

This is only for the esp with live wires though, cant answer for those esp with passive duncans. I believe those would sound diffrent.

  • DAMMIT I WANT A DV8 TOO! FAWK MAN DV8'S SOUND FAWKINGAMAZING! BY THE WAY I LIKE THAT LITTLE ADDITION TO ACHILLES LAST STAND, YOU KINDA ADDED A "PERCUSSION LIKE" "TUKATUN TUKATUN TUKATUN!" TO THE MAIN "RIFF", GREAT PLAYING Señor DV8-R.

  • Uhm... I know where you can buy one :P

    - And I WANT ONE TOO!!!!

  • where can you get one?

  • I dont have it listed. Another youtube subscriber asked if it was for sale. Are you in the United States? If so, shipping via Fedex with insurance is usually about $50. So you would need $700 in total. Just let me know when your ready.

    thx for watching!!!

  • is this the more expensive? or the middle

    priced esp mustaine guitar?

  • This is the Korean made Mustaine model that sells for $1100 new with the case. The model made in Japan sells for $3,000 with a case. My model has LTD on the headstock and the one made in Japan has ESP on the headstock.

I am thinking about putting this on e-bay as I am looking at a USA made Dean guitar.

Interested in this guitar? let me know.

    thx for whatching

  • i might be

how much are u selling it for?

  • how does $650 plus shipping sound? Where are you located? shipping in the US with insurance via Fedex is usually about $50. Outside the US, I use the US postoffice USPS and that runs about $125 with insurance. If this works for you, I want you to feel comfortable sending me the paypal funds. On EBAY, my seller account is KILLERGATZ. I have 100% positive feedback and plan to keep it that thx.

thx again for watching and let me know about the ESP.

    steven

  • ill have to think about it but

im going to try this guitar saturday morning

so let me get back to u after i feel how it

plays and just so you know im from the us

  • sounds good. This is not a sales pitch. I have owned multiple Jackson USA KV2's (check my videos). This guitar has the same pickups, frets and is 100% Mahogany. The only item it doesn't have is a Floyd Rose Tremolo. The action is super low and effortless. I have 10's on there now tuned down a 1/2 step.

Let me know what you decide.

    thx again,

    steven

  • do u still have it?

  • I do. I have been working on some Pantera licks with it lately. I posted a new vid with this guitar with some killer Dimebag riffs.

  • ill buy it iff u wait for me to get the money ive been wanting one for forever now

  • shiping to Canada via USPS Priority Mail International with insureance is $80.

so the total would be $730.

Just let me know when your ready and we can work out the paypal/shipping details.

    thx

    steven

  • i thought you already had one, i remember seeing one in one of your videos

  • How heavy is the guitar? xD

  • I am guessing 6 to 7 pounds. Its very comfortable to play standing up and your back wont hurt after a 3 hour set.

  • thanks. with all the things you said makes me wanna get one xD

  • this guitar is was a limited production run and is getting hard to find. You might have to buy "my" guitar if you really want one!!!

    thx for watching

  • xD

There's a lot of them on Ebay. It might be easy to get one xD

  • there are 2 on ebay now between $1400 USD and 1700 USD. I doubt anyone will pay that much for it, but you never know

  • hell yeah xD

  • did you buy one on ebay?

  • no. I'm portuguese, and any guitar would ship to here. So, i didn't.

i bought a dean vmnt1. it's not a bad guitar, though. But ESP/LTD's are far away better.

  • Dean is my favorite guitar. I collect vintage USA Dean's. Did our VMNT1 come with the active "LiveWire" pickups? Do you have to use 2 batteries?

  • yeah it came with the Livewires. I'm not sure, but I think so. One for each pickup.

  • hey can you tell me the height of that guitar?

  • the case is close to 50 inches if that helps. I love this guitar. Its a working mans Jackson KV2 without the tremolo. Same pickups, 24 frets. This guitar is mahogany body/neck but does not have sharkfin inlays or an ebony fretboard.

    thx for watching

  • thanks.

  • From the wingtip to the end of the headstock is 48 inches.
