to make a private server u need to type up like 1000 lines of computer stuff and then use real life money to buy it or something like that

Wrong, thats only if you want to make it public,, if you just want to play with friends you can use Hamachi (a LAN program)
Look up: "How to make a private Maplestory server" if you really want ot make one.
No money involved, only some free memory and about 20-30 minutes.
