i'm selling maddox's boots from when he was 3. A good place to find a small board is to buy used at a rental shop. we got a 95cm elan at a shop i worked at. i modified it by sticking two 1X1 velro patches on the base located 1/2 inch in from either edge directly under his rear foot. helped for turning and speed control.
why the hell would you do that? its horable for the board cuz every little thing puts a scratch in the base. plus because hes going so slow hes more likly to fall. x.x
Sounds like your a tech to? It was January and I put warm weather wax on the base. I wouldn't leave the base exposed without some wax. And you are correct it would have stopped him in his trax and made him more prone to fall.
that's funny you say that. I used a candle on my kids sleds today. Who do you ride for? It's pretty sweet havin' sponsorship. I got sponsored in 88. Rode it for 10 years. You ever in CO?

btw dude i read in your discription that "he rides so fast we had to detune his base" that dosnt slow him down.

are you thinking we detuned his edges? what we did was strip the wax off of the base.

yeah lol im a tech. and im sponsord. ive never even seen warm weather wax....im not saying its not out there...i just havnt seen it
