Yes, his record of 2005 WC and 2004 OG are important titles but look at how he got them. In 2004 OG, he did not encounter any chinese player, his only hard game was against peter gade. In the OG final, taufik was up against an one eyed korean. Bascially taufik beaten an handicapped player, whoopeee.

Part 2. Even other INA players are jealous of Taufik because of special treatment. Do u see taufik sparring or give advice to other INA players? He found Mulyo because mulyo let taufik skip practices and give in the taufik childless behavior. Taufik also has a big mouth. Calling other player arrogance when himself is arrogant. There are reports that taufik threw stuffs at fans and got into an automobile altercation with the pubic.

Taufik fans often go gaga and use taufik's backhand strength as proof taufik is the best player. Those backhand smashes are just glamor shots, they don't win u titles. The weakness of taufik (and his fans) is his (their) attitude. He thinks he's the best and he know he got the fan support so he doesn't train hard.

He got almost all World Badminton Grand Prix Series, Sea Games, Asian Games, World Cup, All England, Olympic gold medal and many more.
