@1999eking the screen would break and then ur fucked u would have to get a uesd one or pay out the ass for apple to fix it. but until i see it done i will for ever think a mac would die if run over
I was using Puppy Linux at the time. Now, I run an older version of Zenwalk Linux, which runs quite efficiently on the old beast. The computer has most of the functionality of any modern OS, and a touchscreen. Not to mention the case is incredibly tough.

there was no risk to this any laptop will withstand that some for a psp ds cell phones its cuz the car spreds its w8 throw its 4 weels and the weel flexes to the shap of the laptop so rele its not as bad as it looks =)
I used to dismantle them for a living. when you see inside, there's nothing that could reflect the $4000 price tag. standard motherboard & hard drive etc... the only difference is about $10 worth of magnesium alloy and tough plastics.
You need to replace a small 8 pin IC near the CMOS chip. you can buy these direct from Panasonic or you can buy a 'faulty' laptop or motherboard off eBay and do it yourself. alternatively, buy a new MoBo off eBay. To buy one new from panasonic though would be about $700 because it's an "archived" product... in other words the $700 is worth thier while to store these parts in a warehouse probabely somewhere in the new mexico desert :-p. hope this helps.
