Probably, but it's directly near our faces and our bodies are small compared to the air ocean which the atmosphere is. it can handle it. However, our industries are much more powerful than ourselves and eject a lot more undesirable stuff, including CO2. Are we able to create a nuclear winter? Yes. So I assume a global warming triggered by gases like CO2 is also quite realistic.
