  • Comparisons, Comparisons! the video is strictly about BW hair, so why compare with what the other ethinicities are doing? True & HILARIOUS VID though, the brothas are right on the point.

  • kim coles is natural now.

    And she looks better

  • BM say they have a problem with weaves, but listen to the guy @5:48. He basically called lauren hill a man b/c she's natural. BM get it together. don't talk bad about weaves and then turn around and talk bad about BW who are natural.

  • @KollegeGirl13 thank you. good point : )

  • @MegaYahoogurl You're welcome =)

  • These men need to shut up. If women just stopped wearing weaves then they would still run their mouths. BM dont know what they want.

  • lmao at these men talking about how tacky weaves are then saying how good lil kim looks w/ her wigs and jada pinkett looked bad o_O

they dont know what the hell they want, spent all that time bashing weaves, then said that all the women w/ natural hair were ugly. they need to STFU and make their minds up.

wake me up when you get serious men whose opinion i give a fuck about to give commentary. thanks.

  • @mcamurray you got that right, lol. Especially with the Lil Kim part, lol. : )

  • It seem like it's more a comedy special than a documentary. 50% of these guys are comedians that I've seen on comic view.

  • 99.9% of this vid definitely serves as a living example of why so many black women have such little esteem when it comes to their own natural beauty. Nough said.

  • @maximuslyricus true without a doubt, always being compared to other races, and can't be our selves.

  • these men are really funny.

  • Typical.

  • lol you is soo funny

  • I didn't become natural for anything dramatic. I just really wanted my hair to be healthy. I was the weave quenn though honey! I will tell you I am SO GLAD those days are over! Forget that weave. My hair is beautiful and all natural and I love it! (I am not against anyone with a perm or weave though. Rock what you got.)

  • "half yo indian is on my hand" lol...they are straight clowin on here

  • lol pound of american black!lol

  • lmao i was just about to comment on that and scrolled down, but you beat me to it

  • do we ever stop to think of the chemicals we have been putting in our hair? why do we put gloves on when putting perms in our hair? why do we spend our money on things that can harm us?

  • lol brain surgery

  • funny

  • I "love" how the woman compares regular black women to white celebs. I'm a black woman who woke up last year and I will never submit to this bull shit again. Black women need to wake up!!

  • where did they find these ignorant males? Where are the intelligent black men? I thought this would be intriguing but so for I'm disappointed. I guess I'll tune in to Part 3 before giving my final verdict.

  • Most of these dudes look busted anyway, so they need to worry about themselves first. You ain't no Denzel. I don't see anyone mistaking you for Shamar Moore. =__=

  • Why the brothers on here keep putting "ed" on the end of their words like "Lookeded"???????

  • some of these men on here talk like they dont have african blood running through their veins. lets see you grow your hair out and how long will it go. i didnt hear too many positive things said. very sad video. it speaks volumns of how much our men really dont find us attrative. i personally wear my hair relaxed to my shoulders. i wear i weave every blue moon for special occasions. why cant people respect peoples choices. this would b a boring world if we all looked alike.

  • It's a damn shame that American Men, and I clarify American, feel this way about Black women. It really is. I've noticed how they feel about us, my friends have. I have a female friend now who doesn't date American men anymore, she only dates men from Africa. Her latest beau is from Nigeria and he treats her nice and celebrates her blackness. The men on this video have been influenced by the status quo. How did Jennifer Lopez become a topic on this video?

  • I wonder if their's a video on youtube with a white man bitching about white women getting lip injections, butt implants, and breast implants to look like black women. I wonder if white woman have black woman fetishes. Hey dude...go check out Ice T's white woman CoCo...hell she even gave herself a black girl pet name after changing her body into what most black women's bodies look like.

  • Where did this idea of weave being horse hair come from? cheap weave is plastic and the expensive stuff is human hair! who wears horse hair?

  • cheap whore'ses?

  • We all know we do this technically, to fit in with the status quo. Anyone who says they're not is either brainwashed or short sighted. I wear my hair in locks and fully agree with the issue these men claim. I love his thick nap, but my husband continues to cut his short, like theirs. My problem is when men like you and my husband (who is otherwise greatly conscious) wear hair cropped in military, conservative quo vadis hair styles, nothing's wrong. What's up with that???

  • If it is not Natural, it is artificial, and when it is artificial, it is not REAL, and when it is not Real what esle in the mind, being mind is everything, what else in the mind is not real? Be real. Stay Natural. Natural Mind.

  • Interesting documentary, but Why do black women get the most slack for wearing weaves???? Everybody and their mama wears weave, especially now and days. I say wear your hair the way you want it...As a natural sista...I find it funny how "Black guys" approach me more when I wear my hair in a weave vs in my beautiful twist out fro!

  • I agree with you. All these brothas on here are tripping harder than a mother because they know they love hair weaves. That's why whatever a woman does for her hair, should be done because that's what she likes. Period. They hate it when you're hair is nappy, they hate it when it's straight, they hate it when it's fake. No matter what you do, someone will always find something wrong with it. Therefore, do what you want and forget what you heard.

  • so true tinka. y are so many natural sistas trying to talk down on sistas that wear relaxers. do you. you cannot change people. i kno a girl will put kinky twist in one day then turn around and have a straight wrap the next. then a short quickweave. nobody is better than the next. you got crazy demonic people with no heart that got natural hair. and vice versa. hair dont make you. its just a choice in style. wanting to switch up sometimes. this would be a boring world if we all looked alike.

  • Yeah, it should not matter how you wear your hair. But the reality is, outside of youtube land, natural hair is still a rare (except for in big cities) and relaxed is still the popular choice. You will be amazed at how many people still get slack, particularly by those close to them, for wearing their hair natural.

  • Man come on you don't touch a black girl hair. Didn't you see SOMETHING NEW

  • They are! It ticks me off!

These stupid guys probably only date non black females as well, so why are they talking about black females like they're oh so interested?

  • All I hear all the time is how black females should accept their naturally textured hair, yet it seems like everyone at the same time goes on and on about how ugly the naturally textured hair is. Total hypocracy.

  • You have to look past the hair

if you want to get in there.

  • these men are talking all this crap about Black women with weaves and relaxers, but half of them probebly wouldn't date a woman with a natural. They like that long straight hair! I'm natural and I can go to the club looking fly but less guys approach than when i had straight hair. But the ones who do approach me are very cool, smart guys.

  • And that's what counts .

  • who cares. hair is hair, as long as it healthy do what you want.

  • why do black "have to accept there natural texture"? white women dont either .... i know lots of white women who straighten there hair as well?also adding extensions..that is where black women got the techniques from lol! it is foolish to care what someone does with their hair to this extent! it is an accessory.. if u dont like weave then dont be with a woman with one ! so what ! get a hobby ... move on!

  • cuz too many black women think their natural hair is ugly and unwearable.

  • LMFAO@ Black women rocking long European style weaves and frontin like its theirs. If the weaved resembled Black hair then maybe it'll be alright, but it looks and feels nothing like BLACK HAIR.

  • I'm a black women and I tell you. It's tough not because my hair is natural but because the images that black people see in the media are not the images that support black women being their natural selves. It's a sickness. I no longer watch tv and read Vogue Magazine. I'm FREEEEEEEEEEE! And it feels good!

  • Being a black female myself I agree!

  • Alot of haspanic,spanish,... people relaxed their hair too.Alot of them have naturally curly hair I think.

  • Women in general do many different things to their hair that goes against the natural strand. But Black women are really taking the criticism. I say we should all go natural because it is beautiful.

  • WOMEN! Just accept you natural texture!

  • some men are so confused, first they don't won't weave and then when a women go natural and start loving their self they start dissing that. I love my natural hair and my man do to, how about that.

  • why won't asians share their "hair connections" with black retailers? thats the real question. They make millions off us, and won't share with us.

  • Start your own business dealing with natural hair. I bet Asians don't know anything about that. Don't be intimidated by Asians all they do is buy and sale.

  • I hear you and agree with you all the way. I think more sistahs are going natural. I love my napptural beauty and won't trade it for the world, but we do need more businesses. I'm tired of taking road trips just to get my hair done.

  • BLACK WOMEN GIVE STRAIGHT HAIR PINK DOLLS TO BLACK BABY GIRLS sort of like how the white man put training shackles on toddlers in slavery. How do Black women make their hair like unto the hair of HIM THAT RAPED HER FOR 400 YEARS? Does the pink doll given her make her want the WHITE MANS SEED? blacktown(.)net

  • ask any of these black men if they would date a black woman with her natural afro hair.

trust me, in the end, they all go to the lady with weaves.

all you black men talking your behind about weaves.

if you had a choice to pick between india arie (natural) and beyonce (unbeweavable) who would you pick?

we have been taught that our natural hair is ugly.

I don't use weaves, perm my hair. i can tell you: IT'S TOUGH!!

  • That's what I've been thinking the whole time. Because in high school there was this gurl with a beautiful head of natural hair and the brothers gave her heat.

  • lol. that's the reason why black women wear weaves in the first place.

our society (esp. the black community) isn't natural hair friendly. sad.

  • So it's a lose, lose. Even if you have thick healthy hair, if it ain't long, curly and silky...it's not acceptable in it's natural state. Hopefully a change is occuring.

  • I was that gurl! Woot! XD lol

  • LOL, I hope you didn't let them get to you. It was so annoying, she'd be minding her own business and some dude wants to bust out with "WHY DON'T YOU GET A PERM!" It made me mad! And I was relaxed at the time.

  • I KNOW! It doesn't matter if you've had 1 perm or over 9,000 perms, they stil want to mess with you. God I'm glad I'm not in high school. :-D

  • i love weave!!!

  • I only use hair grease on every stran of hair, from root to tip, and surrounding areas right before i use the chemical relaxer. I DO NOT USE HAIR GREASE ANY OTHER TIME, FOR ANY OTHER REASON.Black women can have hair in any style, and any length if we study our hair type and and are willing to nourish our bodies better than we have in the past. Healthy bodies can't help but create very long healthy hair.

  • I am a black woman who correctly uses chemical relaxers, and my hair is over 2 feet long. I have extremely long hair thanks to a healthy diet, and daily vitamins.

  • What vitamins do you use? I use vitamins daily as well. Working on the diet part and excercise helps too. I wear my hair natural and there is a lot of it.

  • was that queen with the red hair and the green dress jade elektra?

  • Yep!

  • love it
