I agree , might be the width , width changes most in the heel and mid of the foot i believe. i have a pair of one90s in 8EE and they hurt my feet , and im getting total ones in an 8D and they fit like a dream.. i dunno why so many people giving you a hard time man ur doing the right thing posting a vid like this.. dont worry you arnt the bender these fags hating are.. hope you got em sorted now !
you can bake them for a better fit and make shure its lased all the way up and maybe you should get a skate tightener and yes they do make those or let your parents tighen it up
All you morons who think this kid put his skates are on the wrong foot need to wake up and watch the video again. They are on the right foot and it shows how stupid some people really are on youtube.
they hurt in the middle because they arent broken in yet, you need to tie them all the way as tight as you can, and suck it up for the first couple skates. then they will start to break in and get comfortable. as for the wiggle, its fine, ur not gonna get rid of it unless u tape around your skates
If you buy a used pair of skates, will they break in to your foot the same as new ones or should I bake them to fit better? I have the same pain in the middle of my foot like this kid but my skates are tight with no movement.
Just train yourself to pull harder and make them tighter. I think that there may be something in you skates that is causing the pain, you shouldn't have to loosen it. Just keep experimenting and see what works best for you! :D
make them titer and deal with the pain. ice hockey is a killer on your feet. no matter what kind of skate you have (experiance and my dad played ice hockey for 8 years) or just put like tissue or something in the space so you wont wobble as much.
trying to skate with loosen or unlaced skates is either dangerous or a mthfkin good exercise for your balance. however if you want to practice your balance, the board with half ball beneath is less risky...
dude!, you are the biggest fuckhead in hockey history. you have to right it hard, even if it hurts. normal hockey skates will have to be broken in before they fit good to your feet. skate in them for about 8hours and they should fit you perfectly. btw i had these, painfull in the beginning.
They May Not Be On The Wrong Feet Maybe The Camera Just Fucks It Up Because When I Tape Shit It Makes Me Look Like I Am Useing a Right Handed Stick But Im Lefty.. The Reason Your Feet Hurt In The Middle Is There New Get Em Baked And Skate It Out.. I Used EE For Reebok Skates I Like Them Wide.. But i Just Got The New CCM U+ CL's and Im Useing a D Width I Guess CCM Makes Em Wider On a Normal Fit
skates fit 2 sizes smaller than shoe size. wide feet=wide skates. use the bauer skate sizer to ensure proper fit. Measure foot length and width. those skates don't fit you. The only thing you can move in a properly fitted skate is your toes!
Uhh... Idk if it's been said before but new skates hurt like hell. It's part of the break in process. Take them to a shop and get them heat molded. If you tie them alittle tighter it would also help
i tell you right now. . .there not tied tight enough. dont tie them tight around the whole skate. tie them tight in the spots where they need to be tight. for example in this video it looks like instep and ankle mostly. i have nike vapor and they fit good. but i have a big instep so wat i have to do is not tighten them tight in the area, if i tighten them to tight my foot wont be able to move and ill lose a lot of power.
I think it's because you don't tie them tight enough. I didn't tie my skates tight enough and my feet hurt really bad and I also got a huge blister. ;]
I would go with the 190s in my opinion. I wanted the 170s at first but when my mom saw loose they were, she said no. So eventually I bribed he into letting me try on the 190s and the fit was awesome so she bought then.
i know why , it happens to me all the time , go to the local sport shop and get a lace hook , it is a tool for helping tightening your skates and by the way in the start it will hurt a lot but after a little bit of skating the pain just goes away , and yea those skates are not normal
Um... Get a D or a R to have a more narrow skate or because their new they are hard to tie tight. When I got mine I got a lace puller thing and it helps alot!
EE is the wider model so that could be a factor. You should allso get them baked. And you can allways wear doulbe socks. If those things dont help and you have tied them hard enough you're srewed.
Do you have flat feet by any chance? If so, that could also be a reason as to why you're experiencing some discomfort on the sides. By the looks of this video, your skates do appear to be way too loose. If anything, there are hockey shops that have machines/methods of molding your skates specifically to the shape of your foot. You should try checking it out.
try getting the laces as tight as you can,if u have trouble,id suggest a skate hook to tighten your laces...for me i like it so the skate feels like part of my foot by making it as tight as possible, but thats just my preference,
They are not on the wrong feet I have the one90s and they are just made like that. what you can do is cut a bit off of the foot bed right by the arch. I had the owner of the store where i bought them customize my foot bed for me and no they fit perfectly
ee means you have a double wide foot so if you dont thats bad cuse i have a really wide foot so i have a ee skates because i have a wide foot but if you dont have a wide foot you are going to have too much space in beetween
dude there not on the wrong feet! x3 lol its just the way those skates r made......um to awnser ur question....for 1 thing it depends on how u like them....i like myn as tight as i can get em....um i wouldnt recomennd leaveing the bottom part lose.....nd also ur gonna feel pain in ur feet u just have to be tough about it! lol anyways nice skates nd 1 day ull find the way u wana wear um bro....pease _/\_
my friend frm mn had that problem too its better to just get new skates it means that ur feet dont fit in those sdates so either get different ones or just dont get ee
i kno it hurts round bottom of ur foot bt tht is too loose mann...i suggest u shuld defo tighten it up cz u can break ur ankle easily if u hav it tht loose
Skates usually run a size to a size and a a half smaller than your "dress" shoe size. Those skates are probably right for you length-wise, but not a deep enough boot for your foot. they hurt your feet cuz you need to break them in. and also i know alot of players who play with there skates super loose and i know alot the opposite. just tighten them to your liking, but make sure you tie the bottom part tigh so your foot stays in place
the problem about the looseness of your skates is that your laces is too short and you didn't tie them really tight so i would suggest to buy a longer laces and you have to tie them reeeaaalllyyy tight.... yh tha's all cya!
their not MEANT to be loose at all my friend. you need all the slack taken up from the skates from the bottom lase up as tight as possible. By having a loose skate you have no energy diverted to the feet for speed. Get them way way tighter
i have vapor xxv, they'r also EE,but they'r not so loose...i think u should thighten ur laces more or if that doesn't work, exchange them for better fitting size...p.s.i was thinking bout buying one70's and xxv but ppl told me xxv's r better cuz they fit much better...
i have those same skates. when i wear them loose its difficult to stop hard. those look very loose. i can barley move my foot around like you do, and i love how they fit and feel when they are tighter.
they dont look to be tied very tightly, try some waxed laces, and there not broken in. you will have to go through the pain for a proper break in but its worth it trust me ive broken in many pairs of skates
thats guys, i just wore them more and more and now i am able to tighten them without it hurting and it feels good and snug. by the way, my normal foot size is 8 mens, and im wearing a 6.5 bauer skate, so size-wise it fits good. i also changed the insoles to SUPERFEET green and it worked really really well
Superfeet has a speacial insole made for skates specifically. Green is made for running shoes and doesn't fit properly in the skate. You should get the grey superfeet, they're made to fit the skate and hold your foot properly in the boot, and give better support compared to the regular insoles
well its how you want them, i have my left tight right loose for more fle of the nike bauers, i have right loose for if we are going anti clockwise i can put my foot over my left alot easier, if its comfortable for yu when skating then its all goof =]
o my god. u get 1 to 1 and a half sizes smaller than ur sneaker size first. and u have to pull as hard as u can to tighten the laces when u tie them on.
you shouldve gotten a smaller size because the skate is suppose to fit like a sock really snugg but not tight you just want it snugg where as i suggest you get a size 5 1/2 or 6 because thats just to lose
tie your laces around the back to the front make it grip the ankle

i have vapor xxv, they'r also EE,but they'r not so loose...i think u should thighten ur laces more or if that doesn't work, exchange them for better fitting size...p.s.i was thinking bout buying one70's and xxv but ppl told me xxv's r better cuz they fit much better...

i have those same skates. when i wear them loose its difficult to stop hard. those look very loose. i can barley move my foot around like you do, and i love how they fit and feel when they are tighter.

they dont look to be tied very tightly, try some waxed laces, and there not broken in. you will have to go through the pain for a proper break in but its worth it trust me ive broken in many pairs of skates

thats guys, i just wore them more and more and now i am able to tighten them without it hurting and it feels good and snug. by the way, my normal foot size is 8 mens, and im wearing a 6.5 bauer skate, so size-wise it fits good. i also changed the insoles to SUPERFEET green and it worked really really well

Superfeet has a speacial insole made for skates specifically. Green is made for running shoes and doesn't fit properly in the skate. You should get the grey superfeet, they're made to fit the skate and hold your foot properly in the boot, and give better support compared to the regular insoles

o my god. u get 1 to 1 and a half sizes smaller than ur sneaker size first. and u have to pull as hard as u can to tighten the laces when u tie them on.

omg u freak ask your parnents to buy u skates they are fucking elephant size the meant to be like stockings
NHLjames 3 years ago
you shouldve gotten a smaller size because the skate is suppose to fit like a sock really snugg but not tight you just want it snugg where as i suggest you get a size 5 1/2 or 6 because thats just to lose
