  • tie your laces around the back to the front make it grip the ankle

  • What size are you in shoes?

  • Bender.

  • I agree , might be the width , width changes most in the heel and mid of the foot i believe. i have a pair of one90s in 8EE and they hurt my feet , and im getting total ones in an 8D and they fit like a dream.. i dunno why so many people giving you a hard time man ur doing the right thing posting a vid like this.. dont worry you arnt the bender these fags hating are.. hope you got em sorted now !

  • bender

  • 80% of the people should use D for the skate... even though everyone apparently has "wide feet".... EE is for huge ass guys ...

  • i swear i thought you were a girl man :(

  • Tie 'em as tight as possible.

If that doesn't work, maybe you're destined to be a bender.

  • you can bake them for a better fit and make shure its lased all the way up and maybe you should get a skate tightener and yes they do make those or let your parents tighen it up

  • bend like rubber

  • Try heat moulding your skates in the oven

  • EE means wide boot so maybe those skates are just not for you

  • tie them up tighter.

then they will probably fit better.

  • lol tighten homie

  • Bcz A: ur a bender B: ur gay C:bcz u aren't ment to play hockey

  • get this kid some duct tape

  • Your a bender

  • cus your a bender hahahah

  • it should be a LOT tighter

  • The reason why their lose are because your a fricken bender and you cant play hockey.

  • try just getting single E

  • Bender

  • maybe cause EE is very wide..you need D

  • bender.

  • i have diognosed you with bending syndrome

  • go ahead... breack your ankle

  • my feet hurt when i got new skates so just tie them tight everytime and then they will ease up the pain as ur foot gets used to them

  • All you morons who think this kid put his skates are on the wrong foot need to wake up and watch the video again. They are on the right foot and it shows how stupid some people really are on youtube.

  • they hurt in the middle because they arent broken in yet, you need to tie them all the way as tight as you can, and suck it up for the first couple skates. then they will start to break in and get comfortable. as for the wiggle, its fine, ur not gonna get rid of it unless u tape around your skates

  • @soxrulz

If you buy a used pair of skates, will they break in to your foot the same as new ones or should I bake them to fit better? I have the same pain in the middle of my foot like this kid but my skates are tight with no movement.

  • its cuz u didnt tie them nearly tight enough. ur not suppost to be able to move ur feet at all. ur ankles hurt because there not tight enough

  • dont get 2e and tie them tighter

  • dude you put the skates on the wrong foot lool

  • Just train yourself to pull harder and make them tighter. I think that there may be something in you skates that is causing the pain, you shouldn't have to loosen it. Just keep experimenting and see what works best for you! :D

  • it should be very tight :') NO movement for enjoy shattering your bones ;)

  • Wait... the one 70s were newish in 08. Why the hell did you buy one 70s when you don't even know what to expect from a new pair of skates?

  • YOU STRAIGHT BENDER!! hahah!

  • If you have to ask if they're to loose, they're most likely to loose...

  • Tuck your skate tongue under you shin guards. You'll see a big difference if you haven't found a solution already.

  • BENDER

  • no basically when u skate u bend, bender! tie ur skates or if u cant have ur mom tie em

  • bake them. then break them in. then tie them looser in the middle and tighter at the top

  • oh wait! or go to your local skate hockey shop and get them baked to your feet.

  • make them titer and deal with the pain. ice hockey is a killer on your feet. no matter what kind of skate you have (experiance and my dad played ice hockey for 8 years) or just put like tissue or something in the space so you wont wobble as much.

  • 13 people know how to lace their skates.

  • youve got then on the wrong feet switch them & hope you enjoy ice skating

  • trying to skate with loosen or unlaced skates is either dangerous or a mthfkin good exercise for your balance. however if you want to practice your balance, the board with half ball beneath is less risky...

  • dude!, you are the biggest fuckhead in hockey history. you have to right it hard, even if it hurts. normal hockey skates will have to be broken in before they fit good to your feet. skate in them for about 8hours and they should fit you perfectly. btw i had these, painfull in the beginning.

  • They May Not Be On The Wrong Feet Maybe The Camera Just Fucks It Up Because When I Tape Shit It Makes Me Look Like I Am Useing a Right Handed Stick But Im Lefty.. The Reason Your Feet Hurt In The Middle Is There New Get Em Baked And Skate It Out.. I Used EE For Reebok Skates I Like Them Wide.. But i Just Got The New CCM U+ CL's and Im Useing a D Width I Guess CCM Makes Em Wider On a Normal Fit

  • Loose skates are much easier to train with like different turns etc.

  • DUSTER!!!!!

  • skates fit 2 sizes smaller than shoe size. wide feet=wide skates. use the bauer skate sizer to ensure proper fit. Measure foot length and width. those skates don't fit you. The only thing you can move in a properly fitted skate is your toes!

  • Bake your skates it will work

  • Realy. Learn how to tie your skates.

  • bender.

  • ya if there loose where u can wiggle it u can break ur ankle

  • your boots are on backwards bro...lol

  • maybe because you bought ee width the widest one. not alot people should have ee width

  • Check out the Lace Mate video on you tube, this will fix your problem and yes they are too loose.

  • Check out the Lace Mate video on you tube, this will fix your problem.

  • tighten them

  • it looks like they're on the wrong feet

  • there on the wrong feet stupid

  • you have to get your sk8z really tight....then before you tie them you rap it once around ur ankle.......then u tie them

  • they fit fine, you are just a bender.

  • shit skates, thats just it

  • theres a tool that you can buy its like a hook on the bottom.

or you can use your hands.

    but....

    there loose

  • Uhh... Idk if it's been said before but new skates hurt like hell. It's part of the break in process. Take them to a shop and get them heat molded. If you tie them alittle tighter it would also help

  • well supremes r a little wider anyway so u definately wanna get D and obviously tie em tighter

  • Hi There, If you want your skate tightening problems to be solved, go to Lace Mate on YouTube. Website to be ready soon.

  • i tell you right now. . .there not tied tight enough. dont tie them tight around the whole skate. tie them tight in the spots where they need to be tight. for example in this video it looks like instep and ankle mostly. i have nike vapor and they fit good. but i have a big instep so wat i have to do is not tighten them tight in the area, if i tighten them to tight my foot wont be able to move and ill lose a lot of power.

  • always keep your skates tight the worst thing you can do is loosen them you can hurt your aklebad

  • I think it's because you don't tie them tight enough. I didn't tie my skates tight enough and my feet hurt really bad and I also got a huge blister. ;]

  • you need a tighter skate

  • it's because you got 'ee' really slim feet...

you should of got a D.

  • try tie them titer i hade the same thing i find bauer skates do that so i whent back to ccm

  • can someone please make a vid on how to tie hockey skates thxs

  • @techdecklord32 Yes go to Lace Mate on You tube. Website to be ready soon,

  • put tape around your ankle so it reduces bending of the ankles the the pain will stop

  • Try baking the skates if you still have a problem then the skates are to big for you.

  • try tying them tighter around your ankle

  • I would go with the 190s in my opinion. I wanted the 170s at first but when my mom saw loose they were, she said no. So eventually I bribed he into letting me try on the 190s and the fit was awesome so she bought then.

The extra 117$ was worth every penny.

  • i know why , it happens to me all the time , go to the local sport shop and get a lace hook , it is a tool for helping tightening your skates and by the way in the start it will hurt a lot but after a little bit of skating the pain just goes away , and yea those skates are not normal

  • Um... Get a D or a R to have a more narrow skate or because their new they are hard to tie tight. When I got mine I got a lace puller thing and it helps alot!

    :)

  • EE is the wider model so that could be a factor. You should allso get them baked. And you can allways wear doulbe socks. If those things dont help and you have tied them hard enough you're srewed.

  • you didnt tie them tight enough...

it happens to me all the time.

if you dont tie them tight enough they will wobble when you are skating.

    I hope this helped.

Ps. Do you play ice hockey?

  • i think that u didnt tie ur skates tiet

  • get new ice skates

  • go suck my dick

  • its because u have a narrow foot with a EE you need a D or R its narrower

  • tie them tight duhhh

  • thats not !!! normal youre idiot

  • Do you have flat feet by any chance? If so, that could also be a reason as to why you're experiencing some discomfort on the sides. By the looks of this video, your skates do appear to be way too loose. If anything, there are hockey shops that have machines/methods of molding your skates specifically to the shape of your foot. You should try checking it out.

  • i have the same problem:D

  • train your hands to tight it hard dude, and tight it HARD on the mdl of ur skates, and the upper skate.

makes you skate A LOT better dude. :) have fun :)

  • get reebok 9k pump skates!!

  • @pittpens10562 my favorite skates... there so cumfy!!!

  • try getting the laces as tight as you can,if u have trouble,id suggest a skate hook to tighten your laces...for me i like it so the skate feels like part of my foot by making it as tight as possible, but thats just my preference,

  • try tying them tighter

  • First of you probably got your skates in adult sizes that means that they are wider, your fault.

    Try wearing thicker socks.

  • Wat u need to do is get zip ties and put your skates in ur oven at home at the colest temp for a minute the zip tie them while they are still tight

  • what i find helps is take shin pad tape and just wrap is tight around a few times

  • They are not on the wrong feet I have the one90s and they are just made like that. what you can do is cut a bit off of the foot bed right by the arch. I had the owner of the store where i bought them customize my foot bed for me and no they fit perfectly

  • tie the bottom and top tight get size d AND FOR CHRISTS SAKE PUT THEM ON THE RIGHT FEET

  • Lace the skate more tightly towards the top (around your ankles), EE is a very wide skate, I have D's myself. Hope this helps, good luck.

  • all new skates will hurt to some extent if they dont fit quite properly, as they mould to the shape of ur foot they shouldnt hurt

  • ee means you have a double wide foot so if you dont thats bad cuse i have a really wide foot so i have a ee skates because i have a wide foot but if you dont have a wide foot you are going to have too much space in beetween

  • hahaha make sure there on the right feet first haha ok then get ur dad 2 tie ur skates cuz u obvi dont tie tight enough or buy a skate tightener

  • omfg they are on the wrong feet dipstick

  • they are on the wrong feet and you need them alot tight for more support and it is much easier to skate in

  • dude there not on the wrong feet! x3 lol its just the way those skates r made......um to awnser ur question....for 1 thing it depends on how u like them....i like myn as tight as i can get em....um i wouldnt recomennd leaveing the bottom part lose.....nd also ur gonna feel pain in ur feet u just have to be tough about it! lol anyways nice skates nd 1 day ull find the way u wana wear um bro....pease _/\_

  • didnt u go to a proshop or hockey store??

  • there on the wrong foot man

  • ur a mong m8 the reason u have pain is coz ur ice skates are on the wrong feet

  • @zilentz1 ,

You are the mong "mate", his skates are on the right feet you are just too stupid to realize that. What a moron you are zilentz1

  • my friend frm mn had that problem too its better to just get new skates it means that ur feet dont fit in those sdates so either get different ones or just dont get ee

  • if you want to stop the pain pull your laces tight ON THE BOTTOM NOT ON THE TOP. and you can get better control on your turns

  • those laces need 2 b pulled tight. i couldn't sk8 with them that loose...

and if u need 2 pairs of socks then u got da wrong size man.....

  • are you just starting to play or wat

  • BENDER!

  • its cause you got EE thats extra wide dumbass

  • bender

  • tighten them and if they dont tighten and u dont want to take em back take hockey tape and wrap it around the top (ankle support)

  • u are probably either a bender or a skate size width D

  • Old school leather hockey skates feels much better. New material skates are too stiff for anythng.

  • You need smaller skates and you need to use waxed laces, get them baked, and tie them tighter.

  • fet your skates baked then tie them as tight as possible.

  • tie your skates tighter those are 600$ skates...

  • tie em' tight bro.... and if that doesnt work, use 2 pairs of socks.... a lace hook ain't a bad idea either... i use one

  • I do that! It feels like heaven even if you're wearing some One05's hahaah.

  • u gotta tie them really tight

  • I had that when i got my skates Just tighten em up

  • i kno it hurts round bottom of ur foot bt tht is too loose mann...i suggest u shuld defo tighten it up cz u can break ur ankle easily if u hav it tht loose

  • ur a bender!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i no. BENDER!!!!!!!

  • Ive got those skates n there like that at first u just gotta break em in :)

  • yeah you can eat dogs for all i eat them adsadf to for them arent YOU??

  • tie them tight until they get completely moulded. and ee r probally way to big but then again they r probally just to loose

  • you said that there are spaces on the side well why did you get ee those are the widest you can get try d or e but not ee

  • yea man i usually wear 2 pairs of socks first pair just normal then usually second pair like a big wooly sock

  • I know what is wrong... But since im not rude i will not say it. And i highly doubt you can mold these.

  • Tie them up tight. i mean as tight as u can... eventually they will mould to ur feet... and will be lot more comfy.... :) take the PAIINN

  • get them molded if you can it will fit alot better

  • Skates usually run a size to a size and a a half smaller than your "dress" shoe size. Those skates are probably right for you length-wise, but not a deep enough boot for your foot. Eyelet spacing should be close to even from the bottom to the 3rd/4th eyelet from the top. Bottom 3 eyelets tight, a bit looser over the bridge of the foot then tight again up the ankles, say from 3rd or 4th eyelet down depending on the cut of the boots. Get those skates baked at a reputable shop. It will help a lot.

  • the reason your feet hurt is the skates are not wide enough. The same thing used to happen to me so i ended up buying the next width bigger.

  • they hurt your feet cuz you need to break them in. and also i know alot of players who play with there skates super loose and i know alot the opposite. just tighten them to your liking, but make sure you tie the bottom part tigh so your foot stays in place

  • the problem about the looseness of your skates is that your laces is too short and you didn't tie them really tight so i would suggest to buy a longer laces and you have to tie them reeeaaalllyyy tight.... yh tha's all cya!

  • Tie it tight to your desire & you need to break them in.

  • You need to tie them ALOT tighter

  • their not MEANT to be loose at all my friend. you need all the slack taken up from the skates from the bottom lase up as tight as possible. By having a loose skate you have no energy diverted to the feet for speed. Get them way way tighter

  • i have vapor xxv, they'r also EE,but they'r not so loose...i think u should thighten ur laces more or if that doesn't work, exchange them for better fitting size...p.s.i was thinking bout buying one70's and xxv but ppl told me xxv's r better cuz they fit much better...

  • cause u got EE

  • i have those same skates. when i wear them loose its difficult to stop hard. those look very loose. i can barley move my foot around like you do, and i love how they fit and feel when they are tighter.

  • they dont look to be tied very tightly, try some waxed laces, and there not broken in. you will have to go through the pain for a proper break in but its worth it trust me ive broken in many pairs of skates

  • thats guys, i just wore them more and more and now i am able to tighten them without it hurting and it feels good and snug. by the way, my normal foot size is 8 mens, and im wearing a 6.5 bauer skate, so size-wise it fits good. i also changed the insoles to SUPERFEET green and it worked really really well

  • Superfeet has a speacial insole made for skates specifically. Green is made for running shoes and doesn't fit properly in the skate. You should get the grey superfeet, they're made to fit the skate and hold your foot properly in the boot, and give better support compared to the regular insoles

  • you need them to wear in

  • all good*

  • well its how you want them, i have my left tight right loose for more fle of the nike bauers, i have right loose for if we are going anti clockwise i can put my foot over my left alot easier, if its comfortable for yu when skating then its all goof =]

  • tighten them more the laces should be able to go around you skate if it dosent the go to my profile illl make a vid. and show you how to k

  • o my god. u get 1 to 1 and a half sizes smaller than ur sneaker size first. and u have to pull as hard as u can to tighten the laces when u tie them on.

  • omg u freak ask your parnents to buy u skates they are fucking elephant size the meant to be like stockings

  • you shouldve gotten a smaller size because the skate is suppose to fit like a sock really snugg but not tight you just want it snugg where as i suggest you get a size 5 1/2 or 6 because thats just to lose
