The best thing about this movie, the only good thing about this movie was Sho Kosugi, the original ninja who's infamous for his ninja movies like Enter the Ninja, Revenge of the Ninja, and Ninja 3: The Domination, my all-time favorites.
What I would like to know is since when has it been OK to waste choreography with computer graphics? Its obvious that with Sho being in this film that someone was dedicating this movie to Sho's classic ninja movies, its kind of insulting to the genre and die hard ninja fans to showcase the computer graphics over the fight sequences.
I went in with high hopes that I would see masterful fighting sequences, different colored ninja suits for different ninja assassin types, historically inspired improvised ninja weaponry and gadgets, Sho Kosugi with a badass ninja clan leader suit, realistic blood and gore, and a less corny final battle between Sho and Rain.
Honestly, they could have left the love story arch out of the movie, for a minute I thought he was going on a mission to find her and end up running into his clan only to find out she joined another clan and at the end both clans would have been fighting in the streets of Tokyo while Rain goes to fight his former master in order to protect her, that would have made more sense. With that story you could make a part two where there's government involvement in secret clan assassination operations.

I agree, Ninja Assassin is perfect bootleg material. I'll have to stop by the Bootleg Hut and grab a copy!
My all-time favorite Stupid Dumbass Movie has to be Godzilla: Final Wars.
Also: it was nice to see you break from your usual format a bit.
