thats not the final ending there is another you have to finish it on legendary with all the skulls unlocked and turned on(including the silver ones)in single player. i have seen it with my own two eyes.

the planet he made it to in the back round is called "onyx" and its where all the sspartens are trained built and live!! master chief"john 117!! was from that planet and was used for battle out of millions.
