dannydacob, you really dont have any idea..if you were to actually watch the new style of football that is being played at southampton you would realise it is anything but average, we may not have lots of big name players but they soon will be. we have a very tallented young squad and it is just about to set the championship alight and get the mighty saints back to where we belong in the premiership.
you had a good turnout wih 27'000 but i couldnt believe the lack of home support.very quiet!
I must have been at a different game to you dannydacob,because i saw Saints totally outclass Derby throughout the second half,although you did have the better first half and you wasted your chances.
Fair play to your fans though for clapping Lee Holmes and for being friendly afterwards.
But i couldnt believe how quiet your fans were before,during and after the game.
With me being a Derby fan, i must say im embarrased to not only have lost to a weak Doncaster side but also a very average Southampton. Not taking anything away from you, but comparing the 2 sids Derby are alot better and should be winning these games; hense the boo'ing at the end!

You were poor, but we were fucking excellent, there were times when you were chasing shadows. We outplayed you from start to finish. And it was fantastic to watch, especially when i think of how you were all on the pitch after the playoffs, how the mighty have fallen.
