dude.. i have the same problem. you pretty much need a new monitor caz the only way to solve this problem is to turn down the brightness caz my same laptop made a buzzing sound when the brightness was up so the backlight turned off fully... i had to turn down the brightness then close the lid and press around the edges of the laptop lid.. then open it n it works.. but yeah.. only the screen cant be turned up too bright. so you jus need to buy a new monitor.. or a macbook
