How is this a bad idea? Two individual brightness levels for "running" lamps and a full brightness for stop. Plus half of it blinks for turn....You do realize we are seeing this from the "edge" of the LED's light dispersion ...right? Viewing it from the back of the car, as if you were in a following vehicle, I am pretty sure they are sufficiently brighter than the taillights on an old 65 ford pickup. LOL! :-P
