There were definitely some things about the game that could have been improved sooo easily. One of these that really pissed me off is that the part of mount doom with the big lava chasm where Frodo is suppose to throw the ring is restricted to the campaign only. Yet, for some retarded reason, they have pathways in the walls of the volcano that look like they would be used for conquest since they serve no purpose in campaign. The announcer dude is stupid too lol. But I still love the game.

If you look at this Game at a Single Player/PVE Game perspective it really DOES SUCK... Its got really few missions and you finish them all easy and fast and they are all the same...

BUT

What is really amazing in this game is the Online Multiplayer... jesus... never played such a good Medieval-PVP before... its just amazing... And its not like playing pvp in a MMO where gear and class/race affects balance.. here in Conquest everyone plays the same classes and the battles are decided by skill

i dont know why ppl are hatin on this game so much! i think it's really awesome! i have had WAY more than five hours worth of play time on this. and i havn't even gotten online yet. I play all the time wit my friend and we can do instant action and campaign over and over. we always get a good laugh at the voice acting. (specially frodo who sounds like he's about to cry) and once you get a bit bored, you can always look for glitches on youtube to fool around wit. GREAT GAME

i found this game a complete let down the fighting is horrible cmon flaming weapons force shields i didnt see any of that in the films and wheres all the gore gone all i saw was flashing sweeps of ur blade that stay there until ur foe hits the floor and no arrows hanging out of them they just burst into white sparks when they hit ur target, no thank you. 1 of the worst games ive ever played !

its a shame that you didnt get to the shitstain known as multiplayer, there is almost no way to survive for more then a minute without being a mage a hero or a cloaked scout, assasinations are cool but its too easy and impossible to block. also i dislike the fact that mages can deflect arrows, heal, and make unblockable shockwaves or bombs, the even have better melee attacks then scouts or archers, all we can do is kick and hope also the fact that trolls and ents can heal sux DAMN COMMENT LIMIT

what is really annoying about this game is the mage

like i can see why they put him in as a like middle range/defensive medic char but for that role his offense is way too good. online everybody picks the friggin mage and in close combat even with a warrior you dont really have a good chance.

i think they should increase the offense (and speed) of the warrior and decrease the offense of the mage a lot so that he really is a support char to heal the others and block them from arrows and stuff

he should be used for healing and defending the people from arrows and spells but the spells are SO strong that 2 lightnings are enough to kill all the chars except the warrier (who needs 3)

so online EVERYBODY plays as the mage which is really annoying cuz 9 out of 10 teams you lose if its one on one

well, not really, they are easy canditates for the scout's backstab kill, also, if you want to kill a mage easy, archers are pretty darn good. Go up to the enemy, kick him down, then start aiming good head shots at him (preferably fire headshots) and he's killed easy. XD

This game was actually very dissapointing, it just wasn't like a LOTR Game at all. I mean if I was to make the game this is what I would do:

#1 For the Story I'd only make the Good Campaign be availible. And as soon as its finished, the evill campaign would be open along with a Campaign Scoring Feature. #2 For the Multiplayer I would allow players to add aditions to the classes with an EXP system. Like if u get 25 exp u unlock a stronger sword for the warrior. This game could be more better.

I bought this 2 days ago and quickly realized that it is nowhere near the level of Return of the king.

The movements suck, lots of low res textures and heroes are the same as the classes. EG-legolass plays exactly the same as the archer. The combat isnt satisfying, warriors are next to useless against trolls.mages are weak. scouts are un-needed offline.

There is no character progression system, so there is no incentive to play as there was in ROTK..
