  • I respect you.

You have a power to persuade everyone.

    Thanks.

  • still don't know why you aren't just a bit more popular , you got mad skills , uh oh , i just used a generation J ( joker ) term . this is expert bro , the song of the older dude generation , generation OD . wait , that doesn't sound right . JV

  • Glad you enjoy it. I kinda wish I would have dressed a little better for it. But what the hey.

  • The guy who did the solo was Jim aka Snouter. He is real, a nice guy and a great player. If you are referring to the thumbnial, that was Paris Hilton. Jim and I have never met face to face. I had recorded the song and it needed something more, and Jim did the job superbly.

  • This is one of my favs. It was a lot of fun to do. The guy I worked on it with wo did the lead guitar solo and I did this all on the internet. I have a few of these that are half done and 3/4 done. I need to get off my ass and finish one of them and do another one.

  • I don't need no fucking MySpace, and yes I am ADDICTED to YouTube.

  • Well thank you very much. It is comments like yours that give make the effort so worthwhile.

  • ROCK ON!!!

    Peace

  • Thank you for your support.

  • Actually it's a naval pic.

  • Thank you for your support.

  • I can't agree more.

  • Thanks megalis, glad you liked it. I will pass along the props to snouter your complement about his shredding.

  • Doing this with Jim was a lot of fun. I feel like his style meshes with mine well. His input gave the tune the edge it desparately needed.

  • Thank you, much appreciated.

  • Thanks for watching and the feedback. It means a lot.

  • Thank you so much.

  • Thanks PC

  • Thanks David. This was a lot of fun, and it was Jim's contribution that gave the whole thing it's "sharp" edge. As far as lyrics go, ususally I start with the hook. In this case it was the "I don't need no text messages etc, and built it up around that. What took for ever was the drum track. I paid painstaking attention to detail with dynamics and nudging the kick and snare so that it would give that "in the pocket" sound.

  • Feedback much appreciated Hippiefied1. Terry is a pretty cool dude. I was one of the people that told him a few months ago that he sort of resembled Ron Jeremy.

  • Thank you for the feedback.

  • Thank you very much. Glad you enjoyed.

  • dicom is a pretty cool guy. Glad to have you on board.

  • Anthem is exactly the effect I was going after. Happy to make it yours.

  • Hey DI thanks for the feedback, and thank you for the referrals.

  • Thanks Monty.

  • With some lessons there is no substitute for time. Age doesn't change us as people, nor does it change the way we think. You will be the same person 20 years from now as you are today. As we add experiences to our collective awareness what changes is the lens through which we view the world.

  • It wouldn't have been the same without your input.

  • Glad you stopped by. I am middle aged and damn proud of it! It's all about acceptance. The kids who make fun of our age will be standing in our shoes one day and that is the sweetest revenge of all.

  • 40 is not that bad. I can see it in the rear view mirror. I think once you cross the 40 mark you will find comfort in not caring whether or not you "get it" anymore.

  • "Back in the day" lol. Back in "my" day, telephones were still wired to the wall, and you had to get off your ass to turn the channel on the TV.

  • 80's was the effect I was going for except I don't have the hair anymore. Glad you liked it. I will relay your complement on the solo to snouter.

  • Thanks for the channel feature.

  • Yea we gotta stick together. YouTube isn't only for the young!!

  • Glad you enjoyed. I had fun making it

  • Thanks Doody. When are you going to interview Ian Crossland. Hell just offer to get him high and drunk and he'll be right over.

  • "Actually" kinda funny?? Just kidding. Thanks for watching Alan. This was my first attempt at a "collab".

  • Yup, when I wrote the lyrics I thought about all the things I say to members of the "MySpace" generation I work with. Thanks for your feedbback. By the way I see that JohnnySmooth commented on your Subscriber Limit video.

  • Thank you Tomi, your feedback means a lot as a fellow musician. Your abilities are light years ahead of mine. I have to try to make up for my lack of technical ability with style.

  • Thanks Jeff. I give it a shot once in a while. Maybe I'll try out for Star Search next season. LOL

  • Me too, where's the drama, where's the fucking drama??? Yea, I got tagged. I thought it was a pretty gay thing, but now that someone thought enough to tag me I want to do it justice and not do the cliche' thing. So yes there will be a 5 things video coming out.

  • Thanks for being first. Now that this is finished, I can concentrate on our collab if you are still up for it. This video to weeks to complete. This last week I was so close to finishing, I just had to go full steam ahead and complete it.

  • I think I hear your mother calling you.
