I just got an 89 jeep yj, it sometimes makes a weird creaking/cracking noise when i turn and hit bumps that i think comes from around the rear wheels area, i have heard it is pretty common, does anyone know what it could be and how to fix it?
my grandpa is a retired body man for 45 years, and he'd offer to help me restore a jeep wrangler, I dont care how old, planning on 88 to 94. But I want to know how they hold on for the engine? Thanks, any info will help me too.
yeah ha ha. that looks like tx. home sweet home. ha. i got a mom who lives in the panhandle and a dad who lives on north padre island, right of chorpus christi. i've been everywhere in Tx. gotta love it. nice jeep to. my problem is i aint got 1000 bucks for a lift and tires, on my 98 wrangler. try car insurance ha.
lol the mud pit, i around there and go there from time to time... they've really fucked it up tho, diggin and movin dirt around and all... i guess they wanna build some shit :(
not to bad i didnt know u guys had mud like that in texas im from oregon no u should come up to the nw and try so snow in the mountains now that beats mud anyday just alittle cold
nothin like going places snowmobilers think ther safe lol
or on a 2000 foot climb on old loging roads over an 8000 foot summit and ending up 2hours away iff u take the highway
LOL shut the hell up.You west coast fools have no idea what real mud is.Come on down to the southeast if u wanna see some mud.Or the northeast for tat matter.Apparently u havent been to TX cause they got some pretty good muddin down there as well!Typical west coast, arrogant and he doesnt even know why.Oh,and yes I have been to Washington, many times.
It means what is says. coil conversion. if it was leaf on all four before now it's coil on all four. much smoother ride than leaf. YJ's were leaf all around and in 1997 the TJ came out with coils
i went there once we from laredo, we took 2 trailers of atvs and 2 trucks, its just awesome, exactly what days are the most people there...weekend..or anyday
