I have a few reasons why someone wants a Mac: (I don't have one myself)

1) You can make iPhone/iPod/iPad apps.

2) Good media editing tools.

3) It is said to be very userfriendly.

4) The design is clean and simple.

True you can make apps....for only apple products.

-Most high end programs are made for both Apple and PC (i.e Adobe After Effects)

-Almost all OS's are user friendly in todays market...you cant really say ones easier over the other.

-Exactly my point, you pay for the design attributes and less so the actual computer. Also if you build your own computer you use any case on the market to do so.

@KickinNick09 I understand and I agree, but for a lot of folk (non-technical-folk) it is just easier to have an iMac. I must say that even I as a nerd feel like buying it. You know you can count on it and it always works as expected. Besides, I must admit that it looks damn awesome on a desk and that is not to be underestimated if you have one in the middle of the living room for example.

Can I suggest you download this free application, its called Magic Prefs. Its for the Magic Mouse and you can make it do stuff when you click with three fingers and stuff.
