Looks similar to those old Mario games, but has some differences. If it can offer online multi-player, I would be very interested. Playing a Mario-like game with friends online would bring back some good memories :)
Looks bloody brilliant. I worry that pixel art is becoming the default in the indie scene, without much thought for *why* other than 'it looks cool'. But here it fits perfectly, with all the playful references to super mario bros. Good stuff mate!
Why are people in here being such douches? If you don't like it, don't get it. A lot of work goes into stuff like this, and it's not going to make your d*ck any bigger if you put it down :S
@OrdoMallius I am pretty sure we have been making retro games long before minecraft. I grew up with a NES, I love those kinds of games, lots of other people love them too.
@aionskull I was pretty sure it wasn't on flash, the point i was making was this looks like just another well done flash game. However well done flash is not something I would pay for as flash has 10000x lower standards.
@CorporalHotdogs I disagree with you, and so do a lot of the people who have pre-purchased the alpha. Do you have some kind of vendetta against low res pixel art? maybe you don't like the user created content thats planned? perhaps it's the network multiplayer that is unsuitable? Sorry to hear you will be missing out on Tiny Plumbers, I play it regularly while I'm working on it and its a tremendous amount of fun. Also, I really appreciate all the support I've been given from everyone else.
@CorporalHotdogs What about the playstyle and mechanics? It's Mario. We've been paying for Mario for 25 years. On the subject of paying for Flash games, Binding of Isaac and Machinarium are both written in Flash. Both of them are fairly cheap (and were in Humble bundles), and both are definitely worth the $5 or so they cost normally.
@rpglover101 Thats nice, I bought both those bundles too. If you check my latest upload you'll find the mechanics extend beyond whats shown in this video. This is just an alpha trailer to get some attention and support the development process.
@TechnoOnyx what do you mean "without progress" ? Granted, the last update was in September, but its not like no progress is being made. Just a moment of down time while I quickly make this game. :D no worries, I am still working on N8.

Once I reAd the blurb about this on RPS, I thought oh cool. Then I opened it and it said it was made by the guy(s?) who did N8 and I said OH COOL.

why would I purchase a flash game?

@CorporalHotdogs I don't know why. I also don't know how to make flash games. Also, Tiny Plumbers is not a flash game.
