  • @1M4N0LBluesaK Hahaha DUH! ur totally right. Slipped my mind I guess. lol

  • Buagua sword play.

  • why's he using a two handed sword for a one hand sword form?

  • @TheWushudreamer Bagua uses large arms

  • Hey, that chinaman is holding up the foursome behind him!!

  • It's a Dynasty Warrior!!!

  • man, I can only Imagine how well a wu dang monk can actually fight .

  • I highly doubt this is the most treasured sword technique in Wudang. I believe BaXianJian - Eight Immortals Sword is actually the most appreciated, with Sanfeng Taijijian on second place.

  • @AndyRaslan Actually, I think they treasure Taiyi Xuan Men Jian more highly than both of those. At least of the publicly shown forms. Xuan Men is the one named after a Taoist god more highly ranked than the 8 Immortals in Taoist belief. It's also a fair bit more complex than Baxian Jian in the same system.

  • it is on a golf course..........

  • Absolutely wonderful: what a baddas this guy would be in a confrontation.

  • if it werent for certain aspects it almost looks like Ba gua if one didnt know any better

  • that is a nice sword

  • is that a two handed jian?

  • beautiful!!!

  • fat bastard

  • @juara86 your mom is a fat bastard

  • yup, that's a 2 handed jian

  • finally a master with a worthy weapon, those flexi tin foil swords are too sad to see in the hands of a skilled master.

  • Is this a two-handed sword set?

  • It looks a lot like Bagua for three reasons: Circular footwork, oversized sword (as in Bagua Saber) and lots of techinical turning footwork and direction changes.

  • He lacks "intent" in his attacks and stances.

  • @D04S02B04 You lack intelligence in your post. STFU.

  • @bowser8375 You're not a martial artist hence you have no idea. I wouldn't be surprise if you're american as well.

  • @D04S02B04 You are such a dumbass. I ha ebeen studying Shaolin Kung Fu for about 3 years know, and have a background in Kenpo as well. Oh and for the record I dont care what nationality you are. You are dumb regardless of that fact. HAHA

  • @bowser8375 I'm amazed that you have studied martial arts for 3 years and cannot discern the problems in the techniques displayed.

  • @D04S02B04 What the hell are your credentials besides being a lame ass YouTube Tard ? His technique isnt perfect, noones is. It is easy to judge from your keyboard LOL. Post a video of your version of this form and lets see it done better ? I doubt I will ever see it. SO fuck off politely. Troll..........................

  • @Bowser666 Similarly in reply to you, what are your credentials for 3 years of martial arts training? Its an interesting perspective you raise that "noone is" perfect in technique and execution.

  • @D04S02B04 I m not the one critiquing this video moron. You are the Internet Sifu here. SO show us how it is done oh wise one ? Oh yeah, you probably don't know a thing about Kung Fu. So as I suggested before , shut up. Don't bother replying because I am deleting all of your moronic statements unless of course, you post a video of you doing some Kung Fu. LOL

  • it would be nice if he do the whole thing in 30 second

  • Comment removed

  • Kool Stuff one day i shall weild a blade with equal magnitude and grace

  • this is not easy to do....

  • Hope you just kidding....

  • its so long

  • That's what she said.

  • i love tht sword

  • Nice sword, I want 1 ^^

  • very smooth.

    nice. thanks for the post.

  • say what you will, this guy has skill.

  • is that a 2 handed jian?

  • Either that or he's one kick ass midget wielding a normal Jian LOL!

  • @mattfinn It is a 2handed Jian. LOL

  • @mattfinn any dumbass can tell that that sword is a two handed sword...wait! omg..sorry i wasnt trying to call you a dumbass...forgive me. hahaha~

  • shhhhhhhhhhhhweeeeeeeeeeeeet

  • This is Wen Xuanzhen from the wudang pai school. He is my shifu's teacher.

  • wait, wudang pai? any relation to tien shan pai? taught by Dr pai himself maby?

  • may be no, taught by Yuan Tun. And by the way, learn how to spell chinese words correctly

  • why would u think wudang pai has anything to do with tien shan pai? that was a very random question you asked. if its bcuz it has "pai" in both names then ur stupid. PAI means school or sect....

  • my ass...

  • ps also notice how well balanced and ready he is at all times -unlike some other styles inc flashier styles. This is my fav one. (So glad to see it thanks for posting!) And Danpaco, we're far too Below it to criticise things like this

  • There only seem to be about five or six different attacks in the form, and most of the differences are a bit minute(upward cuts, horizontal cuts, thrusts, and various directions and altered footwork). Half of those movements would only be effective as parries, and many of the attacks are so wide that the practitioner would be hopelessly vulnerable following a simple sidestep of his opponent. This man's rhythm is very soothing, but to me this seems just a dance.

  • I think the rhythm in this piece is quite rough(compared to other wudang) so not the most soothing. With the 'wide' movements u would be probs be able to push the opponents sword out of the way during the strike and in the same way it would also act as cover -which is what i Hope for when i do mine. i like how a lot of the flexible moves here are also powerful dont often see that. I guess also it can leave u a bit wrong footed if ur using a lighter weapon against it as it slashes at u.

  • I dont understand how this double handed sword form can really be from wu dang system. Pretty much all traces of two handed sword techniques were lost during qing and communist times.

  • nice i want to make a sword

  • i have always love the 2 handed taichi jian forms but this wudang from is just so beautiful... guess ill have to go to wudang to learn it...*grins* thats fine with me

  • why do you write grins,i thought you´re from the us

  • wow, This looks like a double-handed sword art, so big sword.....

  • though the moves he uses seem simple, they aren't. good job

  • it looks like your swordplay just flows out of you like water very nice

  • Good job, I do like kenjutsu more though.

  • cool! A shuang shou jian! I don't know why, but I really like those things for some reason.

  • It isn't miao dao, it is a 2 handed jian. Not bad...

  • Interesting, actually.

  • is it a miao dao sword?

  • No, Miao dao has curvature like Japanese sword(but broader and longer), and it uses a lots of jumping and waist force, and it attacks from bottom to top, really terrible Wu Shu

  • that's a big sword for a jian. Is it two-handed or something? Or is this guy just really small? I've seen other wudang vids, some of them also seem to have larger-than-usual jians.

  • That's a proper two handed sword and they are quite large. Some forms use two handed swords, most are for the normal sword. Generally, the length of the blade is a personal choice.

  • I love WONTONG soup !

  • nice timing and rythm with the sword, otherwise kind of... silly

  • Nice for keeping unsure opponents away, but I'm chuckling at the show.

  • how can you say that? arent you a practitioner of serious martial art?

  • he hits himslef witht the red fur stuff at like 50-53 seconds in

  • Silly unusually shaped clothing? That's actually traditional Han Chinese clothing.

  • I assume this style is meant to be used against successive appearences of opponents who show up conveniently one after another behind the target and almost never thrust, because otherwise I don't think it's very effective. although the man is very good for wearing that demoralizing outfit

  • There's always one smartarse, isn't there? *rolleyes*

  • and there's always another one ready to criticise right afterwards.

  • That's called a form, when in combat, he'd use techniques in the form to defend of attack and in no certain order. The outfit is true of Han Chinese clothes.

  • beautiful.

  • amazing!

  • looks like bagua sword to me.

  • Is this style by chance designed to be used against multiple opponents?

  • haha that definitely is a golf course

  • Even with the silly unshapely clothes, the demonstrator is really good. I can't believe he can demonstrate such fluidity with that hideous thing he's wearing.

  • Actually, that's the traditional Taoist Priest's robes.

  • Ignorant PWNT lol. Gj Delta

  • Really awesome but...is that a golf course?

  • It is good, but the commentary is rather annoying...

  • Wow! That's a double handed Jian. Nice form!

  • Nice flow! I like it
