  • !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THANKS

  • This music is creepy *_*

  • hey,i have a problem my engine wont go over 30% i,ve done everything it says to even printed out a insturtions for it i dont know wahts happenging, yes i turned on the idle detent button but wont catch on, some times it works some times not

  • @tence89 Difficult for me to help you, if you follow the procedure in the manual (pages 19 and 20), you should be able to start your engine.

  • @tence89 I think I know what's your problem. Be sure your throttle is pulled all the way back. When it works it's bwcause the throttle is correctly positionned. When it does'nt wort, the throttle is not at zero. I sometimes had this problem. What I do now: after a mission has ended (weather I ejected, was destroyed, crashed, landed safely or simply decided to end it), I pull the throttle at it's zero position. That way, it's ready for the next startup.

  • You forgot to activate FPM ;)

  • @layr89 If you look closely at 0:36 it was already on.

  • Nice video Tuvok, could you make video about shutting down the engine and all the systems after landing? the manual doesnt give very detailed info about that procedure.

  • @johnnymclaneutah Good idea. There's no video on that.

Page 61 of the manual, after the description of the #9 training mission, landing final approach, you have

    a shut-down procedure.

  • @johnnymclaneutah CHeck out my new video on the Shut Down procedure.

It's basicaly a reversed Ramp Start.

  • hi QAFtuvok101 could you please tell me how to turn my wheels left and right when i start to run my f-16. even i turn my joystick to the left or right it won't work. it let me stay straight please help. thank alot

  • @mark1215 Read this video's info section.

  • i need help. when i do the ramp start and when i land i can not turn the airplane with the front wheel. it only does the rudder. does anyone know what is wrong?

  • Read this video's info section.

  • @QAFtuvok101 oh thank you very much man!!!

  • OMG my wife bought me a joy stick same problem with you my wheel is not turning from left-right it stays straight lol we got same problem. LOL

  • @mark1215 dude i solved the problem!! when you are ready to taxi just press "left shit+/" and you alright!!!

  • thank you soo much dude.

  • I just bought the game and I can't get to the ramp start screen. It will only let me start from the runway and from the take off screen. please help. I know to go to the training screen and it will show takeoff, but I only see three ways to take off and one of them is the ramp start, but it want let me click on to it. What do I need to do to get to ramp start? Thanks

  • You need to enter the simulation at least 30 minutes before your Take-Off time.

Here's how to change that on a Tactical engagement :

If I'm not mistaken, the training mission #2 : Take-Off gives you the opportunity to select "Ramp".

Try to find a Virtual Fighter Squadron in your area, I'm sure you'll find nice people who will help you with pleasure.

    Good luck !

  • thanks, but it want let me clicl on to ramp start. what do you think is the problem

  • You must click on "ramp" before the countdown reaches T - 25 minutes.

  • How come when I turn on my HUD, the things being displayed in the scratchpad are on the bottom of the HUD and here they aren't? how do I make the HUD clear that information?

  • Go at 1:18. the switch just bellow the one being activated should be all the way back in order to remove that.

But sometimes, I like to have that info on the HUD.

A little tip : read the manual.

  • Thank you so much. I did read the manual, but I never saw anything about it. Maybe I should've looked closer. But I learn better by doing anyway ^_^

    Thanks again.

  • It's at the very top of page 344.

  • o.O

That would be why I hate the PIM in all its shapes and forms.

  • PIM ?

BTW, it's the Falcon 4.0 Allied Force manual.

  • Google "falcon 4.0 allied force pit trainer".

A nice little Flash programm that shows what everything in the cockpit is for.

  • I know it's the manual. PIM stands for Pilot Information Manual. It's what pilots use for essentially the same thing as the AF manual. It gives descriptions of the systems, the important speeds, what to do in certain emergencies, etc.

  • how do you ramp start from the main menu?

  • I have a video on that :

Ramp Start option in Falcon 4.0

In short, the star time of the game should be at least 25 min before take-off time (I prefer 30 min).
