@78cousins you should feel bad for Kingdome Come, being blown away by Metallica. Its ok for Dokken playing after Metallica, they have a different style but its just as good as Metallica, or even better depends on who you are, I love Dokken so if you asked me Dokken stole the show, also George Lynch is a beast!

Lynch does improvise live...sometimes its annoying, sometimes it doesn't work and then sometimes, its astonshingly good! By this time however, they had a BIG selling LP, singles charting and big success loomed. But DDokken had already (during this tour) said it was over and he was going it alone. I have a radio interview with DD for promoting this tour..and he says "we're not making any more LPs together"! DD pulled the rug from under their feet.

Love Lynch's studio stuff, LIKE his live stuff. As noted earlier, he fucked that and just about every solo he plays live. I don't care how fast you can blister through runs, play the damn solo! Him and C. C. Deville fucked up most of their live solos.

@thunderdeed how'd you breathe w/ the heat & crowd? saw it in memphis. each band was great. seeing lynch & jabs were the highlights for me. the 80's were a pinnacle for seeing outstanding bands tour together. we were fortunate to see a tour of this magnitude. keep rockin!!!
