Haha thats the easiest way to kill Yu Yevon, Cast Reflect on your party and Cast Reflect on Yu Yevon, Because Yu Yevon only uses Magic Attacks it casts a spell on you and Reflects back to it, Then it uses Cure on itself and it reflects back to 1 of your party members, If you need to Cure yourself then you Cast Cure on Yu Yevon so it Reflects of him and back to you. Easiest Boss in the game. =D

Some of Seymour's battles were tough, and some other battles from other bosses were tough and they too were story driven battle. Look at FFVII for example, the final battle with Sephirot was part of the story and it was wicked hard. The thing is that this battle was too fucking easy for a final boss.

@mikesderic No, a story-driven battle is the one-on-one fight Seph has with Cloud AFTER Safer Sephiroth (where you just use Omnislash). Or True Nyx from Persona 3. Stuff like that.

This game isn't really about grinding to fight the final boss anyway - and anyone who's played the game knows this battle is like the duel between Sephiroth and Cloud after the 'final' battle. The real fun is at the arena with all the ridiculously overpowered enemies to fight.

@ATJB11 Pennance was Yu Yevons last resort to stopping Yuna and the Guardians. After all the dark aeons failed Pennance which is a super aeon of sorts is sent to attack. Fucking annoying boss took me a good hour to kill that bastard

In fact the first time I played this game (i was 10) i didn't bother with random encounters (just ran away) so my guys could only do about 3000-4000 damage per hit, aeons maybe 17000, but this fight was actually impossible for me to win because I didn't teach Zombie to anyone. I had to load my save again, teach Auron Zombie, then fight jecht again which was really hard given my hugely underpowered characters.

Seriously one of the easiest final bosses ever. This fight compares to Xenosaga II's last boss IMO. You face off against a boss with pitiful health, attacks, and most of all YOU CAN'T DIE.

I was hoping this would be a multi-boss battle like previous FFs--like it would mutate into something much stronger as it floated up and merged with the pagodas, but then the ending started playing. Oh well =(

@Judoon13 Only because of the weapon Titus had, and the overdrive Titus used, Blitz Ace is the most powerful overdrive that Titus has, plus the weapon he had was the most powerful weapon for Titus, you should never not play a game because of someone that one-hits the final boss, its a really good game.

When you battle Yu Yevon/Aeons, you automatically get Auto Life

Its the most impossible fight to lose. YOU CAN'T DIE

And an easier way to kill Yu Yevon is by inflicting Zombie Attack on it

And simply use a phoenix down

@awsomeyoshi2 i dont think you understood what he meant.if you know he's a zombie, of course you're gonna throw a phoenix down at him if you want to kill him quickly, but its unlikely to ACCIDENTALLY throw a phoenix down at him because there is no reason to even enter the item menu because there is no need to heal.

Imao Yu Yevon looks like a bug. So a bug can possess aeons and summon a monster like Sin who can kill thousands of people with one attack. LOL Yu Yevon is a total joke. I don't consider him as a final boss as well I consider Braska's Final Aeon/ Jecht as the final boss of this game. He was really hard for a final boss unless your characters were ridiculously overgraded and attacked for 99999 HP damage.

@HappyHawaiinSauce Yeah sin was a hard boss but it was only until I unlocked anima as one of my aeons and she pwned sin in two overdrive attacks sin got owned. As for jecht yeah the 1st part of the fight was not that hard but his second form in which he pulls out his sword makes the fight alot harder it took me like 5 tries to beat and I had to use Spare Change, Self Destruct and all Aeon's overdrive attacks including Anima to barely beat him on my 5th try. Than I beat Yu Yevon very easily.
