For example: The ocean, volcanoes, totem poles etc. Many others are unfalsifiable nonsense, such as the Deist God. Indeed. The interpretation you're talking about is largely invented by theists - who use it all the time as a strawman. Self identified atheists will rarely use it for the simple reason that "God" is a meaningless word that we don't have the freedom to define. We can only respond to theist claims. This has been true all the way back to Epicurus and his problem of evil.
