I like both main characters in this film. I purchased it from Itunes, but I can't watch it again. It's difficult to watch; it's very very very depressing; however, I believe that it's a great movie to watch; it will teach some people how to love and care about others. Most people could care less about family and neighbors, let alone a stranger. I could never put my heart out there like Solo does in this movie. He's my hero!

@justtakeiteasy most films are made for the under 30 age group, who want constant action and little in the way of a story. the good news is that non mainstream films are doing better nowadays as people have cgi/ big budget fatigue, so many films that were made for little by independent film makers are doing well, like lost in translation, l.i.e , station agent, even brokeback mountain was only ever intended for a small audience yet was one of th biggest earners for 2006.

Nice to see Red West in another movie. In real life he was one of the few who had the courage to try and force Elvis to clean up his life. He loved Elvis so much he put his job and life on the line but to no avail. Red is a great man. TCB.

I was very concerned that this film was going to veer off course in the final third. But the director deftly negotiated some tricky points that a lesser talent would have royally screwed up. If you have the patience to watch a film that takes the time it requires to develop some wonderful characters and a very good story, see it. The acting is about as good as it gets. Congrats to Red West who give s the performance of his career. Indie filmmaking at a very high level!

This trailer does quite a bad job of capturing the actual essence of this movie: quiet, lonely beauty. The movie's not a feel-good, irreverent look at two shallow, disjointed characters motivated by the typical 'American Dream and American Dream Gone Bad" who overcome a banal cultural otherness.

It's actually a stark, morally ambiguous movie that describes a weird relationship with no clear motivation, at all.

It's a terrific, terrific movie.
