  • extreme achsenverschränkung^^--nicht :P

  • Being a car-person, if there is one SUV that I wouldn't mind driving in, this would be the only one. Or an X5M if it didin't cost so much f*cking money.

  • The off-road car BMW X1 hahahahhaha.......LOL Its the worst car for this condition!

  • eso es todo lo que necesito, no quiero un camioneton 4x4, con esto es suficiente

  • i would have closed the roof

  • Land Cruiser would've owned ur ass on this childish off road track :)

  • @lowlifehippie Wow, one of the best comments I've ever read on YT :)

  • Top demais! O foda é algum brasileiro comprar um carro de 200k e colocar no barro!! Mas a tração desse carro é loucura, a roda fora do chão nao faz força nenhuma!! Mto loko!!

  • preparing for 2012....

  • Woman..., as usual, special stile...

  • Worthless? Only because you have never driven a BMW or even an X1

  • worthless

  • its a woman, omfg :o

  • @Diogo69Matias and what?

  • Yea, what a great test! We are taking delivery end of this week. X1 23d ! Such a good looking car.

  • This is more than enough for most people, just being able to deal with some dirt, snow or sand. X1 has a big advantage over most crossovers since it has more power on the rear wheels by default. And God damn it, it looks so sexy!

  • @ArtemiyPavlov and its only 26,700€!!!!

  • @rustycan420 here in italy it STARTS from like 32.000 for the 2.0d!!! where do you get that price?!

  • @xxCpxxDr0n3 In Germany of course! And the new X6 is 108.500€ :0 that's expensive!

  • @rustycan420 guess I'll buy my next car directly in germany ;) you make the best cars in the world damn you :)

  • @xxCpxxDr0n3 i know ^^

  • @xxCpxxDr0n3 i know ^.^

  • @xxCpxxDr0n3 rustycan talks bullshit. The 2.0d sdrive costs in Germany 33.300 €, the xdrive 35.200 €. That are the offical prices at the actually Pricelist from September 2011.

  • @honda900000 ahhh ok that's like here then! thanks for the info mate

  • @rustycan420 The X1 cost 27.600 € in Germany. Without 4WD and iDrive and very cheap plastic inside. A good X1. And the X6 isn't new. X6 is 3 years old and costs 58.700 €. 108.500 €? Where do you have that price in Germany? The Hybrid costs 103.000 €.

  • @honda900000 the BMW X6 M (V8) costs 108.500 Euro ^^

  • @ArtemiyPavlov Err...so let me get this straight, you think that the X1 being rwd gives it an advantage over other 4x4s.......?LOL NO! I agree that 99% of owners will never take it anywhere more off road than their driveway, but thats probably for the best. That course is not exactly extreme and it was really struggling. A landrover or a jeep would shit all over it in those conditions. And I think it is the second ugliest car BMW make (after the 5GT)

  • @soundseeker63 Where did I write RWD? I said it has a 60:40 split by default which is good for climbing hills :-) I know that in mild snow/dirt xDrive is very good, and that's as much off-roading as most SUV owners will do. I myself would rather have a Golf R for this money.

  • @ArtemiyPavlov You didn't. But most versions are 2wd anyway so you didn't need to. And actually when climbing hills its the front wheels that have the majority of traction. 60/40 rear is just to make it handle more RWD on the road. It might be better in snow than say, a 3-Series, but thats not difficult. You would need snow/dirt tyres to make it get anywhere, and even then a Landrover would laugh at it. Watch the top gear review of the X6 to see how useless off road it is.

  • @soundseeker63 Traction depends on weight distribution. With a car driving uphill, with 50:50 weight distribution, more traction will be on the rear wheels. Don't forget most oldschool off-roaders are RWD by default, and FWD is engaged on demand. Anyways, I won't argue with you - as most depends on the driver. Some guy on a Polo will drive through where an X1 driver will get stuck :-)

  • Most BMW's x1's will never see mud. I have decidedon the X1 for my next car.

  • try real off road test
