I never claimed it was anything other than my opinion. Make no mistake, I'm not dissing the band, or its fans - I'm merely confused by all the hype, when everything I listened to so far just doesn't measure up. It happens all the time with every form of art - a meme starts to generate over a specific artist, and some people "get it", while others scratch their heads. With all this talk about how everyone discovered this band, I figured i would share my story.

I was up at my schools metalsmithing studio late one night along with a few classmates finishing up some projects that were due. Most of the classmates were girls, so of course they feel entitled to control the music. After countless britney spears and lady gaga tracks, my brain couldn't take any more.
