Why must you feed your python a living animal? Don't you know that a rabbit has just the same right to live as your snake and you?

What would be better is if you cut off your fingers and use them instead to feed the python. That way, no living creature gets to die. Of course, you will have to be willing, or else you'll have to find another human who is willing. Animals can't volunteer for this, and thus are exempt. I believe humans are responsible for feeding their pets with their own limbs.
