At the moment the main is Jemma Rix. If it wasn't her it may have been her understudy Laura Bunting.

If you saw it in Sydney it could've been Jemma Rix, Patrice Tipoki, Pippa Grandison or Zoe Gertz. This video is in Melbourne- Amanda Harrison.

That's basically all the Aussie Elphaba's!

I'm tired of them showing this dumb song for commercials or behind the scene specials. Why can't they ever do No Good Deed, they sometimes do defying gravity but it's mostly "One Short Day".

I agree that it isnt the best song in Wicked. But it is probably the most effective visually. Plus the fact it doesn't spoil the plot too much :P

i think the reason the use 'One Short Day' alot is because it is a fun, colourful, bright and magificent number, and they can't really use every song because they leave a sort of suprise for people when they do go see the musical, but i can see were your coming from! :D

No just that, but the other songs give away some of the story, such as "As Long As You're Mine" tells you that Fiyero and Elphaba fall in love, "No Good Deed" you know that something happens to Fiyero. "One Short Day" tells you that they end up at Emerald City, and that is it. So it doesn't give away any of the story line.

Is it me, or do they use so many more green blinding light in the US?

particularly at 0:22 - 0:23. It's amazing to see the entire theater light up in green because of them. Maybe it's just the video making them not look as bright?

In the actual theatre, the green LED lights light up alot more of the stage than is seen in this video, so that may be why :)

haha when the bicycle drives by and gives glinda 2 tickets she says "look elphie tickets for wizomania" (which is like a musical in oz) and then they go see it and those fat men come out as "wizard" characters

trust me, took me forever to understand! hahaha
