  • @amtrakboy627 Man! San Joaquin's and Capitol Corridor's have Awesome cab car K5LA!

  • Nice cool Video!!!! And # number 100!!!!!!!

  • I almost expected to see a DeLorean on those tacks!

  • The Superliner coach car I saw on a Capitol Corridor train the other day in Emeryville definitely said superliner on the side. Nice video, I like the angle. I've been checking out your other videos as well and have been enjoying them.

  • Nice video! I must say trains look funny when they go 'backwards' :D

  • Thank you!

  • AND P42 # 100!! GREAT CATCH!!

  • Thank you!

  • were those bullet hole's in the middle of the engine

  • No,because theres no way anybodys that acurate witha gun

  • I have no idea.

  • @MrZkr123 No, because there's another set of those circles further down the side of the engine. They look like bolt heads or something, but they are part of the engine.

  • Wow, a Superliner Surfliner coach, that's something I haven't seen yet. 5*****

  • Thanks!

  • That is not a surfliner coach, that is a painted superliner coach

  • it is not a superliner coach

  • yes it is just a painted superliner coach to match the Pacific Surfliner. If you compare a surfliner coach to that painted superliner coach, will see that the doors on the surfliner and at both ends of the car but the superliner coach has 1 door in the middle of the car.

  • He's right. I didn't believe it but pause at 0:45 and you will se that its a superliner.

  • He's right they don't use superliner cars they use California cars they just look like superliner cars.

  • Thanks for watching!

  • Very nice video 5*, Hey how do you get your playlist videos so big

  • I don't know. Thanks!

  • not so rare.

  • Yeah it was.

  • Dont listen to him, hes a jerk and has a smartass remark for many of my videos as well.

  • Thanks!

  • This coach was rebuilt by the state of California, if you look closely it is a Superliner 1 Coach. California took these in and rebuilt them. The Capital Corridor/ San Jaquins trains were the first to recieve the rebuilds and then southern california finally caught on, so this one is most likely trying to find its way down to Southern California, it will presumably hook onto the Coast Starlight to LA.

  • Oh. Thanks!

  • I was just going to say that, i noticed the door wasnt a surfliner door, it was a superliner door.

  • That coach was zipping all over the place this summer, I caught it in August, and the train was pulled by CDTX 2052

  • Thank you!

  • The train looks like it's going backwards.

  • That's just what a south bound looks like. Thanks!

  • Do north bound trains run backwards?

  • san joaquins and capitol corridors both run backwards northbound and engines southbound. This train for example they're route is mostly southbound bt amtrak classifies it as northbound because they left oakland headin north and when they arrive in oakland they're headin south

  • I have seen that done before it seems that equiptment gets moved around alot hell I have seen Pacific Surfliner units as far east as Chicago and had a few on long distence trains such as the Southwest chief seen a few in the Chicago engine facility before cars and engines

  • No they have an engine in front.

  • its because they dont have a turntable, so they decided, before launching the capitol corridor, to put controls and horns, brakes, etc on the other end of each train, hence giving it the name a "cabcar"

  • Have you ever heard of the Railroad Metro North? Some of their trains rum backwards.

  • is the surfliner car a repaint of the superliner car

  • Correctomundo! Thanks!

  • Nice video.

  • Thank you!

  • Actually, it's not a surfliner coach. It's a superliner in Surfliner colors. You can tell because it has the single manually opened door in the middle instead of the 2 sets of automated double doors the surfliner coaches have. Neat catch though.

  • Yeah. I noticed that too. But it's for sure not a San Joaquin coach. Thanks!

  • Sweet Catch!!!!Odd is the Surfliner coach is not painted with the "Surfliner" on the side and it is Sycamore Grove....New coach..5***** and Favorite.

  • Thanks!

  • Great video and awesome Amtrak train!

  • Thanks!

  • COOL!

  • Thanks!

  • cool. ot really a gonna be a TRUE surfliner until they paint the logo on it in november. they are testing it on that train right now. good job JP

  • Still won't be because it is really a superliner coach, only with a new paint job.

  • Spammer...

  • what the hell.......................

  • I don't know where you get your info, but the car was delivered to the Capitols/San Joaquins because they need the cars more than Surfliners. It will wear it's colors until we run it to the ground (in a year), and it's not being tested. Why test a car when we have 3 more JUST like it? Think before you type, and then you wonder why I've blocked you.

  • then why dont you tell me why its in surfliner colors? Mr. Know it all

  • Because it was originally made for the PSL, but the Capitols/Jackos needed the car first.

  • Wait Steven you blocked me?

  • No I didn't. I blocked Brian.

  • Oh... I thought you blocked me for some time there. I was going to wonder why you just blocked me for no reason. Thanks for not scarrying me about blocking me... What'd he do? If you don't mind me asking.

  • What hasn't he done?

  • Ha ha... So this time he went to far?

  • Awesome horn!! Amtrak should paint all of their Superliners in that scheme.

  • Thanks!

  • man if i would of went out yesterday
