  • @WhitePearl19 It's 'pronouncing', not 'spelling'.

And it's because his native language is Hebrew.

  • 14:00 - 15:00

    Brilliant.

  • I disagree with Dr Brook on that health care is the most important topic, or even a particularly important topic. It's very much education, specifically universities, specifically academic research grants. Those need to be abolished. That's more important than anything else. Stop talking about health care and welfare. Get the government out of ideas and you have your victory.

  • If YOU want to help people in need, no one will stop you. If you want to force people to help people in need, you are like all the others. There is no way to draw a line between need and really need. So once you agree to use force to help those who "really need" you've lost whether you know it or not.

  • No one is suggesting that we should not help those in need. It's merely a matter of a need that is justified. Those that are in need need also to have a plan to better themselves which in turn will better us all.

  • @myarosie That attitude is consistent with Obamacare, Medicare, Medicaid, and socialism generally. It's not consistent with capitalism. You need to make a choice.

  • @richardcadbury And what happens when the majority chooses socialism?

    What will you do then?

  • @ppw00 I can't quite see what your question has to do with my comment. What are you driving at?

  • @richardcadbury Assume that most people think like he does (which they do). What is one to do if, when confronted with the need to make a choice, they choose socialism's side? By this point persuasion is out the door. What do you do? Fight or flee?

  • The left and their message in this country need to be abandoned. It won't happen in the foreseeable future since the media is in bed with them and their socialist agenda. The demise of the individual is assured. We are in grave danger as a society if the course we are on continues.

  • It's important to stress that it is morally proper for insurance to make a profit from the healthy and sick alike. It is not at the expense of the sick by which insurance profits but the benefit of the sick which convinces them to trade w/ insurance companies. Mutual benefit to mutual advantage.

  • This is why the so-called Right fails: they fail to make the moral argument for rational self-interest. Unless they learn the morality of rational self-interest (and gain the courage to make the philosophic case for it), they will always lose to the Left. Thank you Objectivists--you're the only rational thinkers around and therefore the only defenders and promoters of human life and happiness.
