@Cloroxbleach1234 The Earth is very, very bright, so the shutter on the camera automatically drops to low light sensitivity to get a picture that isn't like staring into the sun, but then unfortunately not picking up the dim light of the stars. :) It's like trying to find stars on the nightsky while staring into a flashlight.

What depresses me is the fact that Russia will now have full control of ISS since Obuma debunked our SPACE PROGRAM, to follow will be a 2nd teir nation ranking in the UN.

Did you also know that when we were launching supplies up there a few months back with Atlantis & Endevour that we were paying Russia in upwards of $50 million or more per launch! WTF!

is there a conspiracy against Canadians? Every other country and their technology was mentioned but when it came time to mention the Canada Arm as its called in Canada, they call it the robot arm. @irishblood6355 Don't forget that the land is partially covered with clouds and that they're approaching it from an angle so that not all the land is visible yet (until they get around that curve). Believe it or not it's harder than it looks to get an accurate asessment of where you are currently flying over. Plus there is no up or down in space, so without computers it's hard to know where you're facing. "The Blue Marble" photo of Earth was originally taken upside down for example.

see this is just like the moon footage. your eyes are not going to pick up small amounts of very dim light that is stars. if you go outside and look at a bright light at night, then look at the sky for stars, you wont see any at first because your eye has been adjusted to see the very bright light
