Youre gonna have to use more than "general" upgrades to get a 97 GT into the 13's. The 4.6l GT motor is a turd. I tuned one using SCT on a mustang dynomometer. It made little more than 227hp at the tires w/out tune. With PI heads, full exhaust, 42lbs injectors and CAI it made 267hp. Needless to say, that was pretty disapointing.
Glad to see that Ford ditched that "shit-box" of a motor when they made the new 5.0l.

It's funny but he probably meant 10's in the 1/8th and jumps on the gas going down an on ramp and counts to ten assuming it's a quarter mile. What a tool. Most mustang owner around here (Arizona) will rev it up at me in my C5 but they are just messing around none of them think they have more than what they got which isn't to say some of them don't have some serious stuff. You never know what someone has under the hood, but cat back and pullys? to take a 15 second car to tens???? dont think so.

those gt's put like 190 to the ground and 220 to the crank, underdrive pullies would net like 6hp, and a cat back flow kit would be 10 at most. so 206rwhp vs
