Driver - First Mission

You can skip this mission on the pc version:

Go to your Driver directory C\Driver\data\ then right click on mladder.dml and open with notepad. Then delete the lines : 'INTERVIEW' and 'QUITTONFAIL'

Then save the file and the next time you start Driver you start with the missions right away without playing the training mission

@vietcongfistalpha1 you can actually skip all the missions, from the interview to the president's run. then all cheats, cars and cities will be unlocked

Suck nostalgia! Well the first mission was hard. But after a lot of tries you can pass it. This is the original, whereas Driver San Francisco re-created this test, and you need to do the same thing again, with Pontiac Le Mans, which is the most similar to the car shown here.

The event is called "Blast in The Past".

You need to configure the sound plugin. Try to configure or choose a another one. The problems of the plugin depends of the game sometimes.

Call me a moron if you want but I dunno how to do brake check >.< I did all the brakes,Brake,Handbrake,Burnout­(if that counts Idk) but nothing happens what am I missing?

You must take enough speed to do the brake test. You must go straight up and then brake

@POkemon5809 do speed and brake test at same time. btw speed means that you have to go over 60 mph and brake test only works when you brake from 60 mph to zero. hope that helps you

haha driver came out when i was 10 xD couldn't pass this mission :D and now i'm 22 and got driver san francisco today :D there's a similar mission on there :D that's why i'm on here haha! thumbs up if you're watching this vid for the same reason as i am :)

I just got my psx from the basement to see if i can still do this. Got it on the first try :D But when this came out it took me weeks to beat the tutorial, but i practiced it so long, i think i can do it for the rest of my life without problems.
