@EkczHD It seems like it did. I have had to do nothing since installing the card by way of drivers. Well, once W7 got net connection, it seemed to take care of it all by itself
Cheers for watching! mine is a Gigabyte something or other motherboard, 1Gb Ram, 160Gb 7200 Samsung sata HD, and a pentium 4 3.2Ghz processor. and a really old Sony DVD re-writer.
@Logan800 Yes, very well. Well, for my needs but I very rarely get annoyed at it when I do use it. I only used it for productivity software and for rendering video.
Next stop is an extra 1Gb ram and then a xtreme 2Gb USB stick which i want to mount internally to use ready boost and help it along a little more. I think then, apart from putting in a SSD I won't really get much more out of it unless I upgrade the mobo and processor and then obviously the graphics card :-)
I know, but thanks anyway :-) owning and using a Mac every day sure dumbs me down in terms of remembering everything, plus I had a cold. cheers for watching!
Ah I see what you mean now! I re-watched a part of the video where I was talking about the psu and you must have thought I thought the connectors were called 'rails' or 'lines' but I was talking about the 'feeds' of electricity which come from the psu itself which I think are called rails when there are 2 or 4 rails supplying electric to each set of connectors. Just didn't make myself very clear :-)
The power supply was just listed as a colours 550w PSU on Amazon UK. I didn't remove the old drivers from the other graphics card. I just let Windows 7 do it's thing when the new card was installed as shown in the video. I did however go on and install the catalyst control centre for the card from the ATI website which seems to have been updated for Windows 7.
how did you know that your video card was causing problems with safari?

@igamer247 it went to BSOD when I launched Safari. After the upgrade to the new Graphics card, it didn't
