I fucking love Sam Raimi's style. It was more fun to be a fan before Spiderman because you didn't have to hear a bunch of fanboy bullshit about how he ruined this or how he ruined that. I'm glad he's done with those movies now. Drag Me To Hell was awesome and I can't wait to see what he does next.

Spider-Man 3 was screwed with from start to finish by the production company. That's why he walked off for Spider-Man 4. They promised to let him do what he did with the first two, then decided they wanted spider-Man 3 all over again.

Sam hated the idea because it was way too Hollywood. And he was right, that's why the movie sucked. It wasn't Sam's fault. It was Sony's. They were calling the shots.
